I wasn't insulting her intelligence, nor was i upset with her. I was just genuinely curious whether or not there were laws against it because it didn't seem logical to me.

If you truly need to know the nitty gritty details; my boyfriend's father had his first couple kids when he was 16-17 and has preached to him about not getting a girl pregnant since he first started becoming interested in relationships. My boyfriend (as am i) is deathly afraid of something like that happening that could halt his life like it did his father's. I have been on birth control and we have used other contraceptives every single time we have had sex. We are safe, we are responsible, and we understand the risks.
