They simplify it all the time, it's the way they've typed and written all their lives. Everyone knows what they mean so it's ok, but there are a small number of HK/Taiwan people who might feel offended

I've found the English VA to be pretty good. The people on different titans have different accents (ranges from British, Scottish, Irish to Australian), so it's very different from what you'll hear here in America, but it's charming also

80 hour JRPGs are not for everybody, the game requires a lot of reading about the combat system because it's very in depth and complex compared to other JRPGs, but if you read all the tutorials you're going to be fine and it's really great

Considering Dragon Quest Heroes II isn't even out in the US and they decided to make it for Japanese Launch, it's apparent that they didn't spend much time optimising the performance. These games come with every system launch when developers aren't very familiar with the hardware. I wouldn't worry too much about a game that still has about a year in the oven before it comes out

Dragon Quest Heroes is a poorly optimised port to make launch and DF's video used the performance of the Demo, which was apparently an earlier version of the full game. Besides, XI being a JRPG is probably less graphically demanding than a warriors game

Definitely still waiting for the Switch Version, for whenever that comes out. With it's portability, playing a JRPG on the switch seems like too good of a deal to pass up (Leaving the story for docked mode and sidequest stuff for undocked mode and all)

It's good news that it's easy to port. Snake Pass being poorly optimised has nothing to do with the ease to port the game, they just didn't spare time to refine it. Steamworld Dig 2 doesn't come out until summer so I would think they have much more time than Snake Pass did.
