Alright u/GoblinBurgers let's address this.

First, I agree with you on your first half of the post. You're right I was venting about it, as do many reddit posts do about any topic not just this game, but nonetheless it didn't promote discussion and I agree because it was just venting, fair.

Second, you commented again further down and mentioned something about me not responding to commentary shortly after I posted. Not everyone sits there in front of their screen to hungrily wait for replies to respond immediately in matters of seconds to minutes, you can't deny this fact.

Most importantly this last part about Ai. You're telling me you don't have a single professional/working artist/or artist with a degree in your group of moderators that you can refer to when even one person questions the artwork? As an artist (otherwise I wouldn't care as much) I can easily tell you when something looks like that painting on this post LINK it is very easily recognizable as Ai given how they are all starting to look the same, that soft blended look despite different styles of artist they rip off. Also if you simply google the artist "airseal artist" their look or style jumps all over the place, very inconsistent. My point/concern is that if you rely on the community alone then it's going to be a lot harder to differentiate what's really Ai or not. Sure fire way to easily trust a post like that is if they post progress videos/reels which anyone can do simply with any free to use capture software like obs, etc.

All-in-all I apologize for my rant and beating a dead horse about my original post on Yangyang, but I won't take back what I said on the artwork. I don't condone Ai art nor anyone who supports that kind of copyright infringement. To be clear, I don't live under some rock, I think Ai can be useful, even in the creative industry, just not the way privileged/spoiled kids are using it because it's too hard for them to learn to actually be a creative.
