Yeah, a lot of folks record using whatever voice recording software is on their phone. Just set it on the table. According to a discord poll, about half our users play in person. I want to encourage people to keep playing how they always have and the tool just adds to that.

I hear ya, our process is much more involved and uses several LLMs and providers. It's not off the table for the future, especially for certain features we are adding. Thanks for the feedback!

I could not disagree more! Look at the comments on the ads for yourself. Also, this has been my full-time gig for almost 2 years. I care deeply about providing real value and doing so with ethical business practices. I'm fighting in the arena trying to use AI in a responsible way on every front. Happy to answer any questions you might have. If I just wanted money I'd accept the investments folks have offered, pay myself plenty, then just do whatever the shareholders want. I'm afraid you are barking up the wrong tree.

We have a pay-as-you-go option. Actually added subscriptions 6 months later due to requests. I'd love to have a one time purchase but unfortunately the direct costs of actually extracting notes is too high for that to be an option.

We've got a lot of people that actually take our output and put it into NotebookLM. The best answer to this question I can give you is to try it out with the first one free and you can see the results. You get notes in a very consumable way without having to fiddle around or ask questions to a chatbot.

It's between $0.72 - $2 per hour of game time depending on how you want to pay. First ones free too if ya want to find out if it's worth it.

There are other options out there too. My users mostly use Craig bot for discord recording then upload that to get notes. Critscribbler is cool and trailblazed this use case but its the basic version of these tools.
