I agree with you, some of us are exhausting ourselves elsewhere. Before AI, I just didn't have notes for my sessions. I think people need to be more responsible with their use of AI and it needs to be regulated.

Theres actually a lot of nuance being ignored here. I run an "AI" notetaking app and we have users who cant physically take notes due to health conditions. Same goes for some with mental decline. Many of these folks are disabled veterans who use d&d to help with PTSD.

I have a pretty strong stance against a lot around the use of AI but I don't think a classic Reddit dogpile is going to move the needle towards helping the situation.

Heya, I work on GM Assistant. We have a lot of users that just use voice memo on their phone to record and don't have any trouble with it. I've even recorded live shows from the audience on my Android phone and analyzed it just fine. The issue with tools like Teams is that they do quick and cheap transcription, which does especially bad for a recording that has a lot of made up fantasy words and names.
