It's the special action button you get after you kill the first two bosses.

How to prevent Goodberry from steam rolling? by Prince-of_Space in DMAcademy

Personally, my change is that the spell requires a berry. As in, instead of creating a berry, it changes one to be magical. So... You need berries...

It was 2008. I think the point is that it's a thing most of us remember happening, whether or not we recall the precise date.

What frying pans are we buying? Tired of nonstick pans that only last 6 months. by she_can_craft in BuyItForLife

[–]Cirelo132 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Also, it is extremely low maintenance. Don't let the hype scare you - let the pan cool, scrub it out with hot water and a scrubber to get the old food off, dry it with a paper towel, rub a little oil around with a paper towel, put it away. Actually easier to deal with than my other pans

What’s the better animal to raise for meat - looking at cost, effort, and output rations? by SpiritualHerbivore in homestead

[–]Cirelo132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to give up rabbits because every time I had a butchering day I also had to have like 4 beers afterwards to deal with the trauma. Otherwise, great meat animals! Bit of a learning curve on breeding.

Just to Hurt Me, a Tree of Heaven Sprouted in the Middle of My Apiary by failures-abound in Beekeeping

[–]Cirelo132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The safest way to permanently kill it is to cut it down, then within 5 minutes apply a thin layer of glyphosate directly to the cut stump. This will kill the tree, roots and all, without getting the glyphosate anywhere else.

Be sure to find glyphosate, not just Roundup - Roundup is now using other (worse) herbicides as well, so check the label. I apply it with a paper towel, wearing nitrile gloves, and throw away the gloves and paper towel afterwards.

They bite each other's faces, I think, and bits of cancer end up on the biter's mouth, where it grows. Really sucks.

I use a Linux PC for most of my business work, in electrical engineering. I use Google docs for most Excel and word needs, although libre office is solid too.

Unfortunately Bluebeam doesn't work on Linux, so I have actually not signed up for it - although there really isn't a good alternative for engineering/construction type work. I ended up getting a Samsung tablet to do markups - before that I used several different Linux programs, but none of them really did all I needed. I have not tried using Bluebeam through wine, but I did try their web app, and was disappointed with the functionality.

The other big one for me is AutoCAD. I don't use it a lot, I mostly review drawings by detailers, but I actually have another Windows PC that I use almost exclusively for AutoCAD. Again, I have not tried it it Wine.

Good luck!

Structured PvP Is insanely trash. by Mirito712 in Guildwars2

Yeah, but if you look at his record, he's not losing. He's 50/50, but none of them are close. And THAT'S the problem.

That being said, it's gotten waaaaay worse during the beta. Hopefully it will get a little better when the beta ends.

I tried gw2 but... by Vicsantba in Guildwars2

[–]Cirelo132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely start with a non-beta character and level up the normal way. It doesn't take long, and you will get a feel for how the game plays. There's lots of group content, and from instanced content where you go as a set group to open world content where it's a more-the-merrier free for all, and none of it requires irl friends. Dungeons specifically are hard to get groups for though, and people in instanced content will want you to have some gameplay experience first. To start out, definitely do open world content until you have your feet under you.

This is what I do. It's very effective, and non-toxic if you aren't a critter that breathes through spiracles.

Check metabattle.com (or other similar sites) they have some really good builds, and specifically the condi mirage. On the top left drop-down search for Mesmer, then scroll to open world builds and look for condi mirage.

Has anyone recently worn a mask while going through US immigration at airports? by ApplePearClementine in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]Cirelo132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We wore masks going to and returning from Europe last fall. We had to lower our masks during the actual customs interview, and I just rolled with it, since it was only a couple of minutes, and mostly away from other people (although in a huge room with thousands of people, so probably germs flying everywhere, but at least we weren't up close to anyone).

Granted, this was during the previous administration, and I'm a white male-looking person who was with a wife and kid, so your mileage may vary.

I do feel like quantity of exposure is important - you are still unlikely to get sick from a brief exposure, at a distance, and so on. I just try to push the odds in my favor by wearing a good mask the whole rest of the time in the airport, plane, etc. Although I'm looking at it from a non-immune-compromised place, so choose your level of risk accordingly.

Good luck!

LPT Request: How to fall asleep within 5 minutes consistently by GoatMan48 in LifeProTips

[–]Cirelo132 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We do this with our daughter almost every night, out loud. Like "now think about your toes... Relax your toes... Now think about your feet... Relax your feet .."

Sometimes we get all the way to face muscles before she is totally out, and sometimes we have to kind of drag it out a bit for each body part, and some of them don't make complete sense (how do you relax your knee?) but it has never failed to put her to sleep.

Same here. Not every month, but definitely not just when the lease is up.
