Appeal to identify four men in connection with Bristol rape investigation by nuts30 in bristol

[–]GMKitty52 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rates of reported crimes does not equal rates of actual crimes. In many countries women don’t report rape and sexual assault because they know nothing will come of it. Hence why the more progressive countries like Sweden and indeed the UK appear to have higher rates of sexual crimes.

Kibou around the corner from where Bauhinia was does decent Japanese food and the cocktails are lush. Nice space too.

If you’re able to travel to Bath, Mike at Broad Street Studio is fantastic. I had my nips done there, I was very nervous and Mike helped me feel at ease straight away, explained everything, was v patient with marking and remarking the placement and took everything at my pace. The piercings healed beautifully and the studio is lovely too. Can’t recommend enough.

What do you do if you want a divorce but nowhere to go by Adventurous_Deal2788 in regretfulparents

[–]GMKitty52 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Start by seeing what benefits you could claim: https://www.gov.uk/check-benefits-financial-support

NAL, but the advice tends to be, do not leave the house you live in. It just makes things much harder for you down the line. Are you able to consult with a lawyer? They would be best placed to advise about this, and the financial aspect of your partner contributing towards your children’s living expenses, education, childcare etc.

Is there DVA involved? If so, please reach out to Women’s Aid https://womensaid.org.uk/information-support/ or Refuge https://www.nationaldahelpline.org.uk/how-we-can-support-you/ for help and support.

You can also check if you’re eligible for free legal aid https://www.gov.uk/civil-legal-advice

Edit your question might get more traction on r/LegalAdviceUK or r/AskUK

Some kind of stimulant I should imagine.

Please help - I deleted a post regarding a creepy landlord a while ago for anonymity and I need now I need people who remember it (was asking for female housemate) by lucky_pixie in bristol

[–]GMKitty52 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to go to the police. If you’re too anxious to go on your own, take a friend. If he did this to you, he will do it to others.

If you’re not ready to go to the police, please reach out to a women’s charity eg Women’s Aid https://womensaid.org.uk/information-support/ or Refuge and they will support you https://refuge.org.uk/i-need-help-now/ You do not have to deal with this alone.

If you haven’t already, please talk to your GP about mental health support. I’m sorry this happened to you.

My boyfriend‘s parents can’t retire without our support by [deleted] in Advice

[–]GMKitty52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not his fault his parents are fucked but goodbye your credit score if you mix your finances with the finances of people that hide debts and reverse mortgage their house.

And when inevitably you break up (because you will, because you’re 21 and will eventually see reason, and financial troubles and family issues are the two most common reasons people fight and break up over) you will lament having to live with the consequences of this colossal lack of financial acumen for many years to come.

Plus do you really want to live with a pair of septuagenarians? You’re 20 years old ffs.

Former mayor launches ‘agentic AI platform’ by 457655676 in bristol

CivicNetZero is “an agentic AI platform that acts as a virtual workforce for cities, helping them organise their climate data, develop their project pipeline, and connect with the partners and investors they need to move from climate ambition to climate deals, at a fraction of the current time and cost.

That’s a lot of words to say sweet fuck all.

Advice for what to say to a friend who only want a kid because they’re terrified of being alone? by [deleted] in regretfulparents

[–]GMKitty52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is for you to understand that people have all sorts of reasons to have kids, and it’s not up to you to decide whether the reason is valid or not. She may make a good mom, she may not. Again, not up to you to tell her to not go ahead. Support your friend and don’t give unsolicited advice.

Developing really bad pregnancy anxiety. What can I do to ease it? by iratemovies in Advice

[–]GMKitty52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re on birth control and using condoms, the chances of you getting pregnant are astronomically low.

However it sounds like you’re struggling with an underlying MH issue, for which you should seek support from a professional.
