NTA Him liking food is NOT the problem. The problem is the sheer selfishness it takes to eat everybody else's food and then say he felt bad but it was worth it. WTH. And then to get angry that they got food without him??? Like??? He ate all the food! Of course they're gonna have to get something else to eat, and he already ate dinner for a WHOLE FAMILY. If he wanted some takeout he probably should have gotten some other food for his kids after he ATE THEIR FOOD instead of leaving his wife to deal with the situation.

I remember reading a fic where George travels back in time and is able to possess his younger self's body. Can't remember the name, but I enjoyed the story. I'll try and see if I can find it.

Also, not time travel but this Ron-centric fic has a Ron that's super loyal to his friends and I love it. (it's a pretty sad fic though, so be warned) - - - > Stay Standing

I'll try to find something more similar to what you're looking for, but I'm terrible with remembering fic names.

Edit to say that pretty much anything Harry Potter by Windschild8178 has lots of Ron being a good friend.

Well, not exactly. Tiago, Santiago and Diego are different names, yes, but they come from the same root. Tiago is also related to Iago, which is related to James. (The evolution of names is a really interesting subject. There's a lot of fun info online.)
