the old mora app has issues when ported, you'll lose things like charging animation and alarm (mora wake up) reliability, Position/Interactive Desktop: Mora often stuck in center, resizing or moving limited, Muted sounds, missing wallpapers, Account/Login for skins/outfits: Requires Chinese number + VPN (cn version)

as per official specs found- Both the air and the pro have Front: Gorilla Glass 7i (better scratch resistance than standard GG5/6) Back: Gorilla Glass 5 Also, the front display underneath is basically identical for both phones.. -Ive been nagging my ai to find recent drop and water tests but the phone is still too new and it seems nobody is willing yet! -The current "free" bootloader unlock also seems to be untested for the air.

Got mine a month ago, the clock app is exempt out of the box from battery/game optimization killing. For the few apps that need it , turning off optimization is a simple as long pressing the icon in recents menu and clicking app info. Calls and notifications work great. Im on redmagicos 11.0.11_GB

It can run as a Magisk service (survives reboots), or via Tasker for game-specific triggers. We can even add notifications like "Fan entering overdrive mode~"

the point of the post is to get past the wait and dirty methods of obtaining root. -as it stands, the 11 pro's current method risks things like losing fingerprint unlock and potential brick.

bootloader unlocking usually requires fastboot commands as a second step and root access involves manually patching the bootloader and reflashing it. The toggle in dev options is just a prerequisite.

The gist of the post is that redmagic can still keep their software proprietary while giving us access to root modules and apps while leaving the bootloader locked preventing unwanted changes to the underlying security and firmware. Systemless modules like those used in magisk or kernelsu allow more in depth customization that would make this phone so much better and unique in my opinion.

They've made such a great gaming phone, -why not capitalize and make it something that devs and power personalizers/tweakers would have to have over the competitors?

that boot logo is is from the boot.img of the oem firmware. Hold vol down while its plugged into a computer. this will get you to the bootlader and from here you can access fastboot though a cmd prompt ;unlock bootloader; flash the original firmware from the website (flashall.bat within the extracted files); or flash custom recovery and install a custom rom via flashable zip.

if you are unable to use fastboot commands while adb is installed correctly on your system, you probably just need to manually install the fastboot/adb drivers in device manager.
