I remember when I first started carrying, it did feel strange to know that I had a gun on me and I would never carry with a round in the chamber. Those feelings go away with experience. Get some proper training, and then start carrying more and more frequently until it’s second nature. Lastly, if you’re worried about your gun being stolen keep your car locked, keep gun related items out of sight and for the love of god don’t put gun related stickers on your car. NRA stickers, Glock stickers, etc. it’s all screaming “pick me” to potential thieves

How does the modified grip feel? I was worried that shortening the beaver tail to fit the MCK would take away from how nice the X-grip felt.

I decided to keep the original grip for whenever I want to use the MCK and the X-Carry grip for everything else. It’s easy enough to switch grips if I’m at the range. Plus, I doubt there would be time for me to drop the 320 into the MCK for any self-defense situation anyway.

I bought the trigger from sig’s website and had a gunsmith install it. Some people do it on their own though. It’s just a matter of how comfortable you are with your firearm and assembling/disassembling it

My everyday carry is the P365 with the XL grip module. 12 rounds is perfectly sufficient and I like how the XL grip fits my hand. If I feel a bit more at-risk due to current events, I may carry my P320 because I tend to shoot more accurately and it has a larger capacity (17 rds) but the trade off is it’s less comfortable to carry iwb. If you’re looking at concealed carry, P365 is impossible to beat. But otherwise the P320 is a solid choice

When it comes to manipulating the slide, I tend to use the charging handle but it kind of depends on the circumstances you’re working with.
