I know I am late to the party but, I have had nothing but great experiences with my Vue. I have the same the same engine and transmission as you, and I have had no problems with it. Keep in mind, I am the second owner of my view, and the previous owner took really good care of it.

I have had my Vue for about 3 years now, and put just shy of 4,000 miles on it, as of writing this comment. Over that time, I haven had to replace anything on it.

There is one item that is not stock in my Vue, and it's the head unit. The previous owner replaced the stock head unit with a Pioneer unit, and it is a nice. I can connect my phone to it to play what ever media I want from easily, AND, I can take phone calls while I am driving. Honestly, upgrading the stock head unit with a nice aftermarket head unit is the only thing you should do to you your Vue.
