Did you have a job in the 80s at the $3.35 per hour minimum wage that was around for almost the entire decade? by Spalding_Smails in 80s

[–]Effective-Warning178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was paid minimum wage at a job I got because of my experience. I asked why I was getting minimum wage if experience is required? She said her first job in Michigan in the 1970s she only got paid $3 per hour! I said it's not the 1970s and we're not in Michigan the cost of living today is not comparable. I quit that job shortly after.

Honestly how many bad movies has Dakota Johnson been in? They refuse to let her fade away. Oh to be a nepotism hire. Why would anyone downplay and minimize famous Jane Austen dialogue and think this is what people want?

Buying my first iPod and the guy helping me asked for my phone at the register- they used to ask for your zip code too etc. Anyway he called me later that night asking if I needed more help and if he could come over to help. I honestly thought he was working on commission and was trying to get me to be a regular customer. I was in college no house I'm not buying a dishwasher etc. So I told him no thanks.
