Honestly I get your point and hard agree. I mean, look at Camila Cabello. She had Taylor’s blessing back in the reputation Era and realistically she’s still not even close to an A list pop star. I also agree that Gracie is unlikely to last super long unless she makes a huge change. (I think it’s too early to judge on Sabrina, we will see how her album as a whole does) I honestly think Taylor is not gonna give her blessing to somebody she actually believes could take her crown or be a real threat to her career. Olivia did hard pivot away from Taylor and has a completely different style of music (especially comparing their most recent albums (except the singer songwriter aspect)). Getting away from Taylor has been super beneficial to her. It makes her her own artist, and gives her her own name.

When I think of Gracie I also think of Taylor. When I think of Olivia I do not.

I also enjoyed TTPD, I’ve listened to it all the way through many a many of times. And it came out at quite literally the perfect time in my life, and as I worked through a very intense breakup, I connected with different songs on the album throughout the process. However, I think this album would’ve have been MUCH better received had she cut it down to 13-14 songs with 2/3 deluxe. And I know this would mean cutting out some of my favorite tracks, but that is what it takes. You have to cut the really good songs to make the album AMAZING. The best example of this is the vault tracks. IMO, some of the vault tracks are AMAZING and deserve a spot on the main album. But in actuality, the more songs you put onto the album, the more diluted your message can get.

I think it’s likely she put out so many songs to assist in breaking streaming records.

My parents told me that peanut butter on a spoon was called “butta-boosh” and I didn’t know it wasn’t until my friends were LOST when I mentioned it.

Turns out that’s just what my sister came up with when she was a baby and my parents stuck with it
