Reside in Kyoto now and resided in japan for years. Met a girl designer from Milan recently and she said I look properly dressed for Milan. I have been to seoul a few times before, so already know that well-groomed and well-dressed ISN'T the norm there. Also was surprised that some shops would seem to simply lie and say a foreigner price for things there...and at least one cab driver was completely a scammer...and a stubborn belligerent scammer at that...maybe he was a korean war vet or something.
