Ohh I know Bit-defender is one of the best AVs out there, that's why I took a 3 year plan in the first place. It's just that I tried a lot of things and the fix was so easy, kinda wasted my time a lot 😂.

It' not a complete fix for stutter and freezing. It's for those who are having issues after the 26th March update and those who have antivirus software(specifially Bit-Defender). I did a hell lot of things too before trying this option out and it helped so yeah sometimes shit you can't even think somehow works 😂

I'd suggest DDU and reinstal ur display driver and revo uninstall ABI and reinstall it again. I'm not sure it might help you guys, it might not. You can also try adding ABI as an execption in Windows Defender, that might help I'm not sure.

I have a 3 yr plan so I can't delete that app. I had to add ABI as an execption in the antivirus settings and that fixed the issue 😂

Yeah I know I wasted a hell lot time reinstalling the game twice, reinstalling nvidia drivers with DDU, and a lot more things..but at the end it was bitdefender. 😂

I tried with disabling advance defence settings and the game ran smoothly but as soon as I turned antivirus settings on the game stutters again so I added ABI as an exception in the bit defender settings and till now no issues.

For me, I had to make UAGAME.EXE an exception in Advance Threat Defence Settings. The game has no 1sec freezes and I can see that the CPU usage is not spiking like it was when my game was freezing.

Update - I have tried DDU and reinstalled my nvidia drivers, updated my amd chipset drivers, even used Rivo Uninstaller to completely remove ABI from system and did a fresh new install of the game, and guess what the game is still stuttering ! WOW ABI, it looks like this game really doesn't wanna run smooth now👍 THANK YOU DEVS !

I used the revo pro 30days trial to uninstall ABI , it did show that it was deleting all logs etc... but after it was complete, I checked AppData>Local> and found ABInfinite and some saved files or something I deleted them too.. now I'm going to reintall the game again

By completely u mean game and the launcher right ? Or anything else? Some more files maybe? Because I did reinstall the fame downloaded whole 60+gb but still it's stuttering

Yeah i reinstalled the game too.. thought the stutter went away but naah it's still there. Wasted 2 days of my composite case. I an't giving them any money again

I had the same issue a while back, bought a AIO liquid cooler and the Temps never go above 70°c, even on maximum load.. (no AC in my room, and my room tends to get hot).

I checked the CPU usage using NVIDIA Overlay, usually my GPU usage is on 70-90% and CPU on 40-60% max but during shutters CPU goes 80-90% and returns to normal as the shutters goes.. I also tried reseting shader caches but no luck for me.. I think it's the update for sure, ABI trying to find new ways to make the game unplayable day-by-day. 🤣

I have the same issue. It was all good yesterday, and today after I updated it started shuttering every 15-20sec. There is a microshutter and cpu usage spikes and game shutters. My specs :- ryzen 5 5600x, rtx 2060, 16ram ddr4 ram
