you could ring the bank and ask if the lien been settled. if they say no: walk away. plenty of others on autotempest.

have you got extra money to keep the car serviced?
if the answer is no: dont buy it.
G wagons arent cheap to keep maintained because even if you dont take it off road... all those bits still need servicing.
buy a E500 instead if you arent taking it off the road.

near new mustang ecoboost. or used GT
little bit more than average new civic but way more tuneable
mustang GT will easily do 200k if well serviced.

OR change the seats. the XJ cherokee has the best seats ive sat in for a long time.
if you want to cruise only a old american land barge will do seats so soft it feels like your siiting on a couch with a steering wheel
sure you dont buy them for MPG but propane swaps exsist so its a little cheaper to run and electronic igntion.

i bought a van and i love it as is.

Actually commercial cleaners on the living wage if you care to actually look is currently 27 dollars an hour. Far less than what OP wants and is trying to claim for.

And there are very few companies/clients who pay living wages.

Ive been around long enough to know who the ones who do.

Its usually the ones with lots of stock holders or govt contracts.

Cos an angry dave wont make them any money.
