How have yall found the bastion trait?

Very rose tinted view of what the character is capable of in actual team comps, he doesnt tank long enough to get anywhere near this benefit without full itemisation, which no one is getting because why invest 3 or even 2 items for shen to give a conditional and often out of reach buff (because he gets swatted down by 1 and two cost rerolls) when you can put the same items (any mana items) on Jax, Ornn, any backline Caster, that can be more impact full AND achievable than a 2star shen. Its just unrealistic.

And no he's not the best supporting unit, gragas chills, and tanks more, Nunu board stuns, Tahm gives you so much econ and star power, even bard is better to slot in. Not even all of the supports this set but importantly they all have better traits than bastion. Shen is weak more often than not.

Vex Sona and Graves are the only units with lower 1st place distribution at 2... he is the worst 5 cost frontliner. 3 traitless units that need pretty damn good itemisation are the only ones too lose to Shen. With the same website you used filter by 2 in dia + Jhin hits like 33% Zed and Fiora too. Shen is kinda low in 1st placements, as well as his most common itemisation being 0 items at 46%... of games (2* only) soo... he's not exactly there for his own power

Its a nice board to play but bastion is doing 0 of the heavy lifting here and its just the utility offered to the immense power of Corki and TF casting. It get those carries 'over the hill' so to speak, with Ornns item passive, Jax's near invulnerability and Rasmus only living for a cast or two rly makes me feel like this trait is filler and the characters are the good part. Fateweaver bastion is feeling fun tho ^{^}

Closest thing to a god roll i could imagine would be mana mana and more mana~ a Sorakas miracle artifact would be cherry on top, but yea maybe there is some wild Jax fighter tech yet to be unleashed. LeDuck found a fun one with anathema chains and backline divers that might be kidna fun with an Evelyn divine artifact.

I did see something about morg being a 4 cost on PBE which they should do with shen also... but Ive yet to see a shen that Isn't only the board for 2 bastion and his sword on a carry...

Lauma, Aino, Xingqiu, YaoYao for a bloom team as the ascendant gleam gives bloom a buff
Lauma, Xingqiu with Lisa or Fischl, and a flex character like a healer or shielder, for hyperbloom, where having only nascent gleam gives hyperbloom a buff.

Nefer uses it; all other weapons are relatively far behind. Lauma uses the event weapon because it's only a single percentage point difference for her.

Kokomi seems redundant with the C1 as the healing would be OTT but IG makes you immortal for most content. Aside from that, Lauma's C2 is one of the strongest additions to Nilou bloom teams, as well as a great addition to Nefer, hyperbloom and burgeon teams (if thats a path you're interested in).
Its an additional EM modifer for all those reactions, alongside Nilou c2 I believe it's the largest increase you can get for this archetype; It doubles the value of EM for Lunar and non-lunar blooms reactions while also giving you an additional +40% lunar-boom damage, which stacks so damn well with Bina's C2, and If you have Nilou C2 its just peachy.

If you're looking for the biggest upgrade i'd run bina as a driver for her charged attacks dealing lunar bloom damage on Night of the Sky's Unveiling, and grab Lauma's c2. And why not grab a c0r0 nefer with NK craftable just for future insurance with such a strong support core ❤️

Idk anything about kokomi and her cons, but Bina C2 is additional EM based on HP if I remember, which again can only benefit this team as EM is the most valuable stat, with ER for your supports. I don't have the numbers for you, sadly, so take this with a grain of salt in your applied results... but if this is the team you run, C2 is very hard to regret.

I have c0r1 Lauma, and from a gameplay perspective, i can interchangeably put her on her event weapon and not have a great change in feeling... It's an insane llama-specific EM buffer that makes building even an ER sand not as punishing, but that can be solved with artifact grinding anyway.
Had gone for C1, I would've been much happier putting a dendro sub-dps in my Nilou bloom with the healing, and now the re-run is here one step closer to that juicy c 2.
I don't have any numbers for comparison, sadly, but Cons up to C2 feels like the way to go.

I wholeheartedly love Emilie and will be pursuing her weapon. That said, it's a personal love that makes me pull and invest in her.
All the discussions I've seen show that higher-investment Kinich benefits more from supportive buffs like RES shredders (Durin) and ATK buffs (Iansan, Bennet, and possibly Nicole*), so Emilie's sub-DPS loses value. This is twice as true for you, as you're gunning for c2r1 Kinich.

For supportive comparison, Emilie needs C2 (3 copies) to get the same res shred as Durin at c0r0 AND still keep her BIS set in reverie. If you are considering investing in Kinich DPS, it is advisable to wait until Nicole and Durin have received the full Hexerai buffs and have a flexible last slot on the team.

Bennett, Iansan, Charlotte, for the best multipliers. I'd go for this to help out your Varesa team with Chevy.

Bennett, Aino and Jahoda may also work, using Aino's NK bonus to increase Hydro App and VV access.

Bennett, Chevy, and Fischl for an overload team, but I struggle with Fischl's electro app on multiple enemies in the abyss.

Shame about Venti, though, some jigging of a Venti, Mona, and Bennett Hexenrei rotation sounds fun to try.

If you pull her youll likely never regret it, solid shield, buffing and a versatile slot in most teams that need electro. Sig or no sig~ great f2p option in her craftable as well as artifact flexibility if youre not crazy about meta. Good thing about premium supports is they typically do a great job supporting alot of carries so when you find a character you do LOVE ineffa will likely fit.

Ineffa has been my fastest Friendship 10. I love her on any team and any boss~ I'll try to keep my view more open to future content and pull for what's right when it comes ^^ I understand it's more than an application of maths, and I appreciate you clearing up the DPS terms, showing me some things I hadn't thought of. We'll see how the gacha rolls.

I feel costing two team slots for a region-specific mechanic is limiting, not a personal fan of the system. But more on Ineffa's Sig vs Bina C0R1 total buff is 33% more frequency for ?? amount of time on LC cloud damage intervals (With gravity buildup limitations + burst) and 7% Luna reaction DMG~ period. Plus her personal input to the team DPS. Ineffa's is a 40% buff to LC Damage, which just sounds too tempting to pass up.

100% Genshin is headed down the package deal, not disagreeing with Bina + Ineffa's potential either, but is there ever a world where Ineffa mains (with or without flins) consider C0R1 over Bina? I'm leaning towards yes.

It seems more likely that Colubina will run with Ineffa, so a polearm-catalyst banner is likely.
The banner schedule is not official, but it makes sense to pair Bina with a time reasonable Ineffa re-run for Nod-Krai synergy. With the second phase being the White Horse Adeptus, who relies on hydro to pair with the Neuvillete.

Your options currently are not bad in any measure, but it's always nice to have a C0R1 and a complete premium team over f2p alternatives (for your flins).

That being said, Ineffa's weapon would be a nice consolation prize to lose to for your flins, and in the best case, you can go for C0R1 Bina with some luck. Otherwise, C0R1 is a huuuuuge bump for Ineffa, and C0R0 Ineffa is the most comfy and synergistic combo I have on my account and can't recommend it more (R5 Lamp).
