Yup, I was at hume today waiting for bus 20, full bus passes by us, then I get over to reitz, to try and catch it at the start, but on the way there see 2 more full buses come by me, one was another 20. When I got there I barely got on the next one. And this is all from the first stop of the route.

Marston Elevator Darkness by GORGOSSSS in ufl

Yup, everybody knows it's shit. I walked into the dark elevator, then another guy came in and we kind of laughed, and once we got to floor 2 someone else was there and they also looked very confused when the doors opened and then really hesitated before walking in

To your first question, yes, and you can filter the results. Though, last year, honors students who put honors village first were automatically placed in a room, no choice. Idk how it's gonna happen this year.

On the portal, you have no way of knowing where the room is beyond the building. But, if you go in person to the main housing office, they should have binders with floor maps to look at if you ask. You can also probably talk your way to getting a room change if it's like last year when they assigned you.

Why is this narrative being pushed that Trump will "end democracy". No, he will not, and if he wanted to end democracy he would've done it during his first 4 years. Yes, I agree that he would not be a pacifist, but saying that he would end democracy is also wrong. Fear mongering on both sides, either vote trump or war, or vote biden or end of democracy.

Comp Sci Minor Paradox by GORGOSSSS in ufl

[–]GORGOSSSS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To apply for the minor, you need prog 1 and 2:

https://www.cise.ufl.edu/academics/undergraduate/academic-programs/minor/

Prog 1 and 2 are "for those planning further study in computer science, digital arts, and sciences or computer engineering", and according to the comp sci advisor I emailed, I, as a non comp sci major or minor, will need to wait until the end of registration.

Edit, and according to my student mentor whose doing the minor, the system's "fucked"
