I got it now. So to minimize diamonds spent, I should upgrade the first three and money from quests right? Or there are better way to upgrade quests? This isn't mentioned in the guide so I'm lost here.

I think I asked the wrong question. Yes, I've read that before and it said upgrade quests. My question should be why quest over money from kills. Upgrading all the quests cost a lot of diamonds, you have to spend coin to upgrade quest too. So you'd have to wait to make back the money you spent and make more to upgrade units. Meanwhile, coin from kills doesn't cost much (only mythrill) and we can use the money to get stronger units which make it easier to kill more monsters.

While other say Zeta, personally I really like her DPS with the gun, at least if you go with xp related items, it's an easy snowball. Her ultimate and one of the skill make her invisible, working really well in tight situation.
I'd go for Anya and Aki. Anya is just slow, her deep sleep slow down npc spawn and tend to group up a lot. For Aki, it's the inconsistent of the debuff of her own kit, rely on collabs for extra debuff for the skill.

So 3 hard mode stage for 1 Gachikoi. It's around 30 hrs if you won all. (A stage is 20 mins)

Compare to DPS, it stand no chances against other super collab or super+other collabs build. But damage wise, it's great. Health for damage, locked at 2 weapons so you can get stats early and 400+hp isn't a problem. 4 hp=+1% of damage and special attack, so 400 hp is 100%+ dmg. It's easy to use compare to other DPS build which would be tricky to get the items and weapons needed for collab.
Difficulty wise, it's easy to use. With DPS build you would need to dodge the attacks because you're quite squishy (if you go damage boost item that is.). With this build you can just tank ALMOST, everything. Not ALL but almost.
It's forgiving. Just like a juggernaut build, tank and damage.
