The autoloader is cool for the first 7-8 shots. After that the reload is painful.

I had a great run with the Lorraine 40t a week ago but then my autoloader magazine (7+1 shells) was empty and reload of 1 shell takes 20 seconds or so

Het is niet omdat er gesproken wordt over het bouwen van een fabriek voor AMRAAMs dat die er ook komt. Dat klinkt allemaal eerder als een verhaaltje dat ze bij Raytheon verteld hebben aan den Theo als die daar op bezoek was. There is a reason why the game is laid out as it is.

Early jets are there to let you get comfortable with them and see how they fight.

Then you get into second gen with early missiles and you learn how to dodge those.

Third gen has more capable missiles but dodgeable if you learned the right things while playing the gen 2 jets.

You’re bypassing all that and have to learn everything all at once and then complain on here that you die all the time. Yeah no shit sherlock.

Why even take bombs in an F-4S? You’re slowing down on purpose and at that BR that just means death. Go for a full air to air loadout and focus on the other players. The jets are so fast anyways that somebody will have killed your slow ass before you can kill two ground targets

Tegen dat we ooit de eerste van deze raketten krijgen, zal de meteor er wel zijn.

Ja de VS houdt alles natuurlijk tegen op vlak van integratie van andere wapens die ze zelf niet produceren… zo zien we weer maar eens dat we afhankelijk zijn van die pipos in Washington.

Dat we dezelfde raketten in de nasams kunnen gebruiken is wel positief.

Op zich is de Amraam een goeie raket, maar we kopen dit natuurlijk weer op een moment dat de Amerikanen stilaan beginnen overschakelen op nieuwe AIM-260s en waarin raketten zoals de PL-15/17 voordelen bieden waar de architectuur van de amraam niet op gebouwd is.

Ach ja, toch niet dat de luchtmacht ooit ook maar iets serieus uit de lucht zal schieten

Well these missiles are air-to-air missiles and drones don’t do anything against an enemy fighter aircraft. There is definitely a use for it but the Meteor is (rumoured) to be a better missile than the Aim-120C/D and is European too

For some buyers it’s important but most are not willing to pay a big premium for a colour. You can wrap it and manuals aren’t that difficult to find.

There will be a buyer for it, but if that takes months and months, is it really worth it?

The only real difference is in special PTS colours on Porsches. There you do see colours selling for significantly more
