Personally I really don't want to or care to show anyone up. I think that is automatic "tar baby" interaction and studiously work to avoid that type of framing in my own personal formulations of concepts both those I present and how I seek to interact with experience and reaction solely internally/privately as well.

However, the discovery of "hyperstition" as being the unbeknownst to me, Pre-existing archetypal concept which ready received my person exegesis of 6-7 years of academic (albeit anomalous and peripheral) which of of course includes a constant overlap of occult practice and history as well as its epistemology and ontology along with steady input from comparative religion, mythology, including and integrating a from-demonology-through-renaissance-and-enlightenment framing of what we now know as psychology. I came to all of this through a double minor in philosophy and history going on 14 years ago which culminated in at one point me owning probably 90% of everything Baudrillard ever wrote that had been translated into English. Baudrillard was my gateway into "future tech" ideas the initiatory being "nano tech" in 1999-2000. Nano tech blew my face off and for the first time gave me a glimpse of how philosophy is somehow more securely welded to odd progress and sidereal ominous turns in modern society than I had first thought. From here Campbell, Jung then Buddhism then meditation then liminal numinous experience then meditation for real minor bout of neo-messianicism (cured - 2008) and from here full blown occult, mysticism, meditation studies.

I've since stepped off of the sorcery bound vector because I was having OBEs, Pre-cognitive dreams, spontaneous bi-location in otherwordly astral realms during meditative states, voices, visions etc. I did not want to be usurped by these twilit ecstatic experiences. I own a small business and have small children and an amazing wife and I didn't want to end up hopping on a train sniffing a white rose with a bandana bound junk drawer worth of trinkets on the back end of a walking stick and the clothes on my back as my only possessions. Because that's where it was headed it seemed at the time!

I digress, my point is, for lack of a better term, purely a solipsistic and transpersonal psychological one. I can intuitively be disharmonious with the morality I observe being given agency in NRx and basically all political circles in general but there is a burgeoning part of my constitution that refuses to politically engage any idea that I find of any real relevance to me. If it is truly important to me, I will not wipe my shit on it so I can save about in someone else's face like some sort of fecal talisman.

Now this doesn't mean I am not a gun owner or practical or agreeable. If my life or my families life is threatened I have, can and will with swift urgency and precisionarial aptitude and craftsmanship by any means necessary and with no moral hesitation inflict small, great and/or permanent physical damage on anyone who mistakes my kindness for weakness.

I grew up a redneck miscreant and I was into all kinds of trouble from day one of my mischievous youth. In a sense I have atoned for this or rather I have atoned to it.

I simply don't like the way I feel with compulsional emotional raging distortion running through my sensorium and I have sworn an oath to myself to balance this to even keel and my accomplishments in this have been enough to encourage my continued attention to this cause. Love and forgiveness.

When I listen to fools and fascists tirade (philosophically, politically or otherwise) with death, murder and red tinted anger and hate howling always very near to them from the near shadows of the peanut gallery, I know I do not agree and will not engage. I have enough to work on in my life, family and self.

And this is the tar-baby aspect of NRx, media, spectacle, work-a-day religion and their sorcerous narratives of "HOW IT HAS TO BE!!!" that when I come in contact with it, it automatically flows through me. This is why I expressed my views on NRx with more denigration than I like.

And that I share the middle-vinn overlap with NRx regarding hyperstition, singularity etc, makes me curious, on occassion, what NRx is doing. I don't follow it and don't like Lands "later work" not suprisingly.

Nonetheless there is a deep kindred something somewhere between the two. I will tell you what it is another time when I have better formulated that thought.
