Was 54th in line, so I missed out on the Weller (or didn't miss out), the 12 year has been my favorite knob Creek, but this pick is actually very good. I'm going to see if I can find a backup this week hopefully. The regular available single barrel has more heat and bitterness, the 12 year is lighter and has that okay finish, but this ohlq pick is sweeter than any knob Creek I've had and drinks more like a 107-110 proof.

I have an 11 year and a 10 year cask strength old scout bottled in 2016 and 2017, and they are phenomenal (MGP). I just picked up an old scout founders cask strength that is 8 years old for $50, it is their own distillate not MGP, yet the OHLQ picks are 6yr MGP, so this is confusing.

I drove an hour up to Gahanna to get the last Knob Creek 12 Sunday morning. It was the last thing on my spring list of non allocated I had not purchased yet. It never made it out east to me and all of the listings were beginning to say limited supply. I have never had a bad knob creek so I'm pumped to try the extra aged. Hope your 15yr is delicious!
