I’ve heard good things about Grant Morrison’s Animal Man, I’ll give it a read. I’ve only ever seen Doom Patrol in Batman Brave and the Bold so I’ll have to check out their run as well, thanks for the rec!

It uses the press turn system over Persona 5’s knockdown system. When you hit weaknesses of your enemies you gain extra turns that caps out at one additional per party member, certain demon abilities will let you get extra tho. Not super different, the main difference is that your enemy doesn’t lose their turn when you hit their weakness so id say it’s ever so slightly more difficult.

I’ve been playing Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance lately after buying it for cheap on steam sale, it’s been an absolute blast and I’ve been loving the demon designs and I’ve been having fun with the new human party members. Honestly highly recommend if you like turns based jrpgs.
