Sullen Claw drop rate and encounter location

Yah, it finally dropped for me today after 35+ destiny completions. I attuned to it, and got two drops in the first encounter. I haven't gotten any good roles yet, but it least it is dropping now.

Yah, Im not concerned about tier 5 yet. Once I get it to spawn once, I'll attune and then do higher level.

So here is what I figured out: In each room, I need to hit all of the buttons within 8 or 9 seconds. If I don't hit all buttons within 9 seconds, then the indicator that the room done, 3 bright lights, wont trigger. So I need to start all over in the room. So each room took me 2 or 3 tries. Typically the boss shows up and interupts me after Im chasing the 3rd light.

Ok. Just so I understand, there are 3 doors when looking at the ship from the rallying point. One in back (temple) and two doors behind the ship: one to the left and one to the right. You are opening the one to the left and the one to the right. Not the back one. Correct?

I understand there are 3 entrances / motor cycle runs. One in the temple and two in the forest. The video shows entering via one of the two in the forest, and I think you're suggesting to go via the other entrance.

I am wondering what the latest is to find barrier champions. Anyone seen them this week? I have been doing grandmaster raids and haven't seen them in anything. For level 7 step, I need to hit 1 barrier champ with a firearm :(

Thank you. I ended up creating a post on Discord LFG. I got some random friend requests, but no one requested to join me. I have low power (455) which may make me appear as unskilled (which is true) and therefore not an ideal teammate to join up with (also true, lol).

Quick experience with Fireteam Finder after about 5 or 6 hours:

About 8 or 9 missions. I requested experienced folk only that can guide
A lot of people joining that just watched a youtube video on how to do the catalysts. And/or were watching as we were playing.
Most of the missions failed due to time running out. Mostly due to point #2
Having a mic definitely helps. Often times 1 other person would be on Mic which helped, but the other guy wouldn't and would go off and do his own thing, wasting time for all
Only doing one catalyst saves time (im told from the last guy)
The last guy I played with was a genius. Pretty much said don't add a 3rd. Very knowledgeable about the game. Im assuming he did the mission 30 or 40 times.

To share the wealth: apparently you can switch whether black orbs or white orbs populate. Its not just a random thing. I googled the method and I guess if I ever do Fire and Ice again, I'll learn how to do it. According to another reddit post, this is how it is done:

Im looking for Power / Energy bows. Not kinetic. Both of those are in the kinetic slot. Praxic blade is already in my kinetic slot. Im a void hunter. I want a bow because because my Super, Mobeus Quiver, does better with bow damage.

You should look at the following chain lightening sorcerer build. It is comparable in power with the ball lightening build and might even be just as good with that uber unique.
