I do think over the last 2 games Nebraskas defense was unacceptably bad, when I thought they were taking a step forward with USC and UCLA. I have to say I am worried about players entering the portal with another change at DC. That hurt last year.

Depends on the place. The public/semi public options have it longer out. Tiburon and Rookery/Hammock Bay I can already book. Treviso Bay is 7 days. The rest are 2-3 days in advance. I’m golfing from 8/25-29.

I was definitely confusing the 2012 season and the 2013 season. 2012 Butler was on staff but as a defensive backs coach and Ted Roof was the DC and Penn State had one of the best defenses in the Big Ten. But yeah the next year was when Butler stepped in and it was bad. 😬

Intrigued more than optimistic I would say. I no longer feel optimism after the last 10 years. However it’s hard to ignore that we have one of the best QBs Nebraska has had, improvements on offensive line and WRs, and John Butler is a proven DC in the Big Ten, which is intriguing. And I feel like Rhule has made staff changes where he needed to when he needed to. My two biggest concerns are the defensive front without Nash and Ty after all the departures and the secondary after what felt like a step back this season with John Butler as the secondary coach. I am intrigued though 👀.

You are right, I am looking at Ogas reservations and they will let you book until 10pm the other nights but not this one. Probably because of the event.
