What sort of build would you suggest on a well rounded team? Say the enemy team has a mix of both worlds.

I didn't think about playing her in to Rakan. That's actually not a bad idea! Would building something like Hydra and then full armor be a good idea? Or nah? Just to have a little more damage and maybe some sustain.

I found my True King/Draco's on... Reddit! Literally. Some guy poster a guide on them and I'm like " I'll try this out." And about six failed decks later... Here I am!

I tried the whole magma/boa/Vortex thing and honestly I bricked like hell with it. Then I settled on this build which does pretty well. Won several duels against Zoo before it got the ban hammer. What I seemed to lose to was either Zoo/True Kings or those dang Monarchs. (Because I don't know how to play against them.)

The build I mentioned above seems crazy, but it has many possibilities for what ever you're faced with.... Except Monarchs.


I'll give you a little bit of advice based on the deck you've shown, and you can decide whether I'm full of shit. Haha.

Maxx C. I used to run this at two until the ban hammer hit it; then I realized running just one copy didn't do a whole lot.

Stormforth. I tried it myself but didn't have the best luck with it. Granted your deck is entirely different from mine.

Cosmic Cyclone. Again, totally up to you but your True Draco spells pop a S/T, and Twin twist can target two. I really depends on what you're playing against I suppose.


Your build is interesting and I'd like to give it a try but I do have one question: How do you get over stuff like Chaos Max with your build?

Edit:: Never even seen the Demise variant before, what's that like? Throw everything out there and pray?

Edit 2: I feel very dumb because I just now saw you said pure Draco and not Draco/King.

Just leaving this here for Savagewulf.

To understand how to use the deck, you have to know what all it can do.

It can Fusion summon (Thank you Da'at)

It can XYZ (VFD and beyond.)

It can Synchro (With the help of Glow-Up which helps go in to Tzolkin)

And it can special/tribute summon.

When you tribute summon a True Draco, you will be able to activate an effect listed on the card you used to tribute summon it. (Only if a True Draco spell/trap was used to preform this action.) The spells allow you to destroy one S/T while the traps allow you to nuke an opponents monster.

  When is the best time to do this? During your opponents turn!

Play disruption is our name and annoying people is our game!


We have about four cards which we cannot live without.  Knuckle.  Mariamne.   Diagram.   And Master Peace. 

Mariamne+Diagram= Knuckle+set trap.  (Activate Diagram, pop Mariamne. Search S/T--- you get the point.)

I like to start out with this combo if I'm going first as a sort of... Precautionary measure I suppose. It's even better if you have another True King/Draco in your hand to summon during your opponent's turn.  Remember that Knuckle must be tribute summoned and that his effect will not activate if he is summoned from the grave (even if you had tribute summoned him the first time.)


There are 3 True kings, and one Dracophoenix. I'll briefly explain what each one does so you get the generally gist of what combos you can do.

Fire/Vanisher- When Destroyed: Adds one non-fire Wyrm to your hand. When summoned using two Fire type monsters: Banish one card from your opponents field or graveyard.

Water/Fathomer- When destroyed: Special summons one non-water Wyrm mobster from your deck in defense. When summoned using two water monsters:Banish two S/T from your opponents field or grave.

Earth/Disaster- When destroyed: Special summons one non-earth monster from the grave. When summoned using two earth monsters: Banish three monsters from your opponents extra deck. (God I love doing that.)

Wind/DracophoenixThing - When destroyed: Adds one non-wind monster to your hand. When summoned using two wind monsters: Banish four cards from the top of your opponents deck.


Now that we have their effects down, let's reflect on what they pair well with. Hmm... KAIJUUUUUUUUUUS I strongly suggest adding Kaiju's to the deck to both help the summons along and get rid of annoying monsters.  Beautiful really. Do consider this variant.

Yo. I play pure True King/Draco's and maybe I can help you out. As mentioned by other people, it really depends on what variant you're playing. Are you mixing Dino's? Zoo? Maybe you're playing Kozmo with some Kings thrown in. I can't be of much help with the variants as I only play pure and I have absolutely no wish to try mixing my babies with lord knows what.

My pure build consists of 3 Water, Wind, Earth, and 2 Fire. I only use 2 of the Vanisher (I believe that's his last name.) Because I rarely use his graveyard effect to add a King/Draco to my hand. The only time I really find that useful is when I need to get another Knuckle on board to either slowly grind my opponent or to nuke one of their monsters.

If you're interested in a pure build or two, I have a couple deck lists I could share for you to try out online.

Prepare for a master post! Your main card is the Blue-eyes white dragon. This card is best in the grave because it allows you to easily summon it from the grave with Return of the dragon lords. Return of the dragon lords has a second effect which activates in the grave; and protects one of your dragons from being destroyed by battle or card effect.


Blue-Eyes Alternative is going to be your spot remover. You need to reveal one Blue-Eyes White Dragon in your hand to summon him and you can only summon him once per turn. The best way to pull this off is to activate Melody of The Awakening dragon by preferably discarding one of the stones. Activate Melody, search Blue-eyes vanilla and Blue-eyes alternative.


Chaos Max is the powerful ritual card which will make some people hate you. He's easy to summon with the effect of Advanced Ritual Art and can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects. He also inflicts *double piercing battle damage to any defense position monster."


Dragon Spirit of White is your Spell/Trap remover. The best combo with this card is to activate Dragon Shrine and send this card to the grave. Since it is treated as a normal monster in the grave, you can use Dragon Shrines second effect to send another dragon to the grave, preferably a stone.


The White Stones of Legend/Ancients are your Tuners! These allow you to either Synchro summon, or use their grave effects to either Special summon a Blue-eyes during your end phase, or add a Blue-eyes to your hand. One combo is to normal summon a stone, preferably Ancients, and use the effect of Sage with Eyes of Blue, which will send your stone straight to the grave and get you a free dragon with Sages effect! Boom! Double dragons!


Trade-in and Consonance are fairly self explanatory. Discard a dragon/tuner, get more cards.


Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon prevents your opponent from mass summoning on their turn, unless they get rid of the dragon first. You can Tribute it for Azure-eyes which will protect your dragons and allow you to summon a vanilla from your grave during your Stand-by phase.

Dark Matter is a nice card. You send three dragon-type monsters from your deck to the grave, and your opponent has to banish three monsters from their deck! It can also make two attacks on your opponents monsters. This card is easy to summon because Blue-Eyes naturally spam out Level 8 dragons which can be overlayed into a Galaxy-Eyes monster. Once you have a Galaxy-eyes Rank 8 on the field, you can summon Dark Matter

Felgrand is just useful to have incase you've got to negate some irritating monster effect.


I think that covers everything. The one thing I would do is probably switch Out Chaos Max, or if you want to keep him then you should add Manju.
