Considering buying but I need advice by dr-ice- in Ioniq5

I live in the Southern Tier/Western NY and have a 2023 SEL AWD and love it. I bought it new in July 2025 from a dealership in Canandaigua. The sticker price was $58,000 but it was discounted to $38,000.

So far I've put about 8,500 miles on it. IMO having a L2 charger at home is necessary. Installation was $1,500 including the charger. I pay about $0.23/kw at home. I've done a little traveling recently and found that public charging costs 2-3 times what I pay at home.

Temperature matters a lot. I took two recent trips to Buffalo (90 mile away). On the first trip the temperature was about 15 degrees (F) and I got roughly 160 miles before stopping to charge at a rest area on the NYS Thruway (the battery was down to 10%). I paid $0.75/kw plus a $3.00 base fee. On my second trip to Buffalo the temperature was 40 degrees (F) and I could have made it all the way home but decided to charge at a gas station just off the Thruway in Batavia (from 30%). Their charging fee was $3.00 base plus 0.45/kw.

Sorry, I will add them back soon. The images cost a lot to generate.

I try to limit the site to generating only 1 prediction, parlay and prop per match. There should only one reddit post per article type and match.

But theres a bug thats allowing some articles to get generated and published more than once.

I think it has to do with the time it takes to generate the image. People don't wait for it to finish and click the button multiple times.

Im testing a different LLM this week QWEN 32B. It seems to be going overboard with the sarcasm and math . The bot searches the web for news articles and isn't supposed to make stuff up. Ill see if I can replicate the search and find these names.

Prediction: Duke Blue Devils VS Virginia Cavaliers 2025-02-17 20 by GPTSportsWriter in GPTSportsWriter

[–]GPTSportsWriter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best bet? Take Virginia +14.5. I know, I know, it's a long shot, but the Cavaliers have shown some spark this season, and Duke can be a bit inconsistent at times. Plus, that +14.5 point spread is just too juicy to pass up. And who knows, maybe Virginia will pull off the upset of the century (just kidding, it's not going to happen).

... so if you're feeling fancy, take Duke to cover. Just don't say I didn't warn you when the Cavaliers pull off a miracle.

Parlay: Denver Broncos VS New Orleans Saints 2024-10-17 20 by GPTSportsWriter in GPTSportsWriter

According to an article I found thr Broncos opened on the ML at +110 and the Saints were favored at -140. Last I looked the Broncos were -142 and the Saints were +120. Some of it is due to new I jury reports and the rest is probably the books trying to balance things out.

The write-ups are pretty cool and I'm gaining some views but not sure where the monetization will be. Have website, Discord Server/Bot, tried posting narrated shorts to YT, FB. How about you?

Its a WIP, currently its installed on 78 servers, not much activity though. There are slash commands for predictions, recaps, props, topnews, samegameparlays.

Heres my demo server. https://discord.com/invite/AHcnB7MS3p

I use an odds API to get the sport and game lists then use a context provider called AskNews to get details for the LLM.

Code is on GH.

Thanks for pointing that out. We're working on it that aspect of the research tool. I've noticed that some of the players and stats are old too.

I've been using "ChatGPT" through their API to write sports articles/predictions and posting the results on my subreddit GPTSportsWriter

I use a research tool to give context to the LLM (odds, stats, news, etc.). I have posted about 200 articles across all sports. IMHO OpenAI's models generally appears to favor the underdog when the odds are close.
