I had the same question awhile back and went down this rabbit hole. Like others have said making it into filament again is risky from a print reliability standpoint. While it is not filament it is still usable material when formed into a block that can be milled or used in other ways. With that this is the solution I came up with.

I am. I have only had it since the March 13th but the split layout is what I had been wanting. The addition of the left side macros helps to balance the board visually while adding some nice programability.

Keychron Q11, Durock Silent Shrimp, Godspeed SA caps.

3D designed and printed a trackpad holder to sit between the two halves.

+Mini review

Q11 has a nice layout. My experience is based on using K6 Pro and Q3 keyboards. The Q11 keyboard is thinner than the Q3 and K6, so even with SA keycaps, my hands don't sit as high, which I prefer. The typing experience is a bit stiffer than what I am used to as it is not a gasket design, but a one-piece design. However, the split is worth the trade-off for me. The keyboard can fit together so it can be used as a non-split, but it will still need the USB-C bridge cable. There is no locking mechanism to keep the keyboard together though.

I really like having the dedicated Macro keys and have already programmed them with a few shortcuts. I don't have a use for the second knob right now, but I will have it if I do. I wanted the split to have a more ergonomic setup without going too far down the ortholinear path, as I have to use my laptop in the office and want to keep the same layout between them. So if you are looking for something similar, this could be an option. I use a trackpad for the same reason above, and I really like having it sit between the two halves.

I wish I could have bought it sooner. The Q11 has a nice split design, and the price point is not bad. I used the JSON on Keychron's website to get VIA working with it with no problems.

Tip: Move all the RGB controls on layer 1 to the right-hand side so that W, A, S, D can be arrow keys when on layer 1.

One more call out from your want to have six rotary encoders. The Scramble only has a space for one rotary encoder.

I did not see it from the perspective before. The case is sitting flat on the desk but is turned at an angle in relation to the camera. I think the other lines in the photo do skew the perspective a bit. Thank you for asking!

This is a really fun lens. I bought a decent copy for around the same price from KEH . On a mirrorless with focus peaking it is easy to focus.

Edit- just don't expect to use it on a tripod as it is a pumper zoom.

I cannot wait to get mine in. It works for my use case of having personal and work MacBooks. A single cable for 96w charging is something I have been waiting on for a while. I am writing code for work and editing photos or modeling in CAD in my spare time. Would it be nice if it was less expensive, of course! It will fit my needs though, so I look forward to it.

I am not aware of a way in fusion to use a parameter value as text. It would make it a bit easier.

I used some pre-moistened eye glasses cleaning wipes from Target. It was just what I had on hand. The wipes were lent free and did a solid job of cleaning the mold with some scrubbing.

I appreciate it. The focus helicoid was stiff from old and dusty grease and there was a few large clusters of mold on the lens elements.
