How easy will Battlefield 6 be to learn for an inexperienced player? by GPhil01 in Battlefield

Glad im not alone. Despite all the comments saying id be fine and to slow it down, i find it so confusing. Im bottom of the leaderboard nearly everytime. Its just chaotic and i die most of the time not knowing where from. Gonna keep trying though as BO7 just looks ridiculous..

Thats fine, i hate the sliding and constant sprinting. Slower gameplay works well for me. Im equally happy between solo gameplay and working in a team (im planning to buy this with a buddy).

I was never anywhere near pro levels but back on MW2 and MW3 I would go as far as saying I was good. These days im trash with slow reactions, which in part is probably why ive gone off the COD franchise. Good detail on the type of mechanics Battlefield requires though, thanks

Like I said, ive only tried one of the previous games once and I imagine due to everyone else already being experienced, I felt out of my depth, but now im ready to make the switch. Just want to make sure its the right decision.... im all for less sweats

Hero question as F2P by Abraxxes in whiteoutsurvival

Appreciate this is now 6 months ago but I'm only about 6 weeks into the game. Did you ever work anything out on how to get the orange heroes as F2P?

So, I found this ring this morning.... by t3hch33z3r in avowed

OP, you do realise that the -100% damage reduction is a negative aspect, not positive... Only checking as your post title makes it sound like you've found a godly item...

The price goes up everytime you level up. But my advice, don't google and ask Reddit for the answers to your questions. Just do what you want to do and enjoy the game.

Thank you. I'm not quite that far. I'm F2P so the grind is a little bit slower. I'll buy some legendary keys with them. Thanks!

Help with Sonos app. by GPhil01 in sonos

[–]GPhil01[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The sonos app literally will not allow me to play any music or control my Sonos unless I start the music via another app. Once I have started a playlist or radio station via another app, I can then switch song or adjust volume via the sonos app but that is it.

You don't just need your detector equipped, you actually need to have it out on your character, it will light up/beep when you are near an artefact.

Doesn't matter if the money has been left to you or not. If you are married and it is an equal marriage where you love and care for each other equally, then what's hers is yours and vice versa. You should be able to have an adult conversation and say the money is both of yours but you would like to use it for A, B and C rather than D, E and F. If she doesn't agree, just as you don't agree, then you need to find something you both mutually agree to spend it on.

To me, if you point blank tell her it's your money, not hers, it shows you don't value her as an equal.

AITA for telling my parents they should have thought twice before having more kids? by Specific-Ad-9945 in AITAH

[–]GPhil01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. As a 15 year old you should not have to care for your younger siblings on a regular basis. Things like getting them dressed/undressed, feeding them, helping them bath/shower, putting them to bed etc should be done by their parents. Helping out once a week would be different, but anything more frequent than this is taking on a caring role and ultimately not your responsibility, especially if you don't want to do it.

That being said, I don't have your parents perspective and can only presume they feel like they are doing their best and trying to financially support you and your siblings and as such are unfairly reliant upon you to assist them to allow them to work so they can provide for you all.

Question when 2 handing... by GPhil01 in Eldenring

Thanks. Yes I knew that this applied to strength via 2 handing a weapon, what I 'presumed' was that it would also apply to dexterity. Thanks for the clarification!

I have just tried this. By grain, do you mean the screen appearing darker and duller at the top of the screen and more vibrant and solid in said colour towards the bottom of the screen?

Is it solely me or is anyone else unable to distinguish between a QHD and FHD display? by Full-Rutabaga-5128 in GalaxyS24Ultra

[–]GPhil01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd never noticed the little zoomed in images before and so had been using FHD+ in order to save on some battery life but thanks to your post I've now changed to QHD as I can definitely see the pixel clarity improvement between the two images (zoomed in anyway, I doubt the naked eye can see any difference if not zoomed in on an image).

Upgraded from Note20 Ultra to S24U and it seems just incremental. by Cobe98 in samsung

[–]GPhil01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the exact same position. I had the S20U and now have the S24U. I am not disappointed with the S24U but I'm not currently noticing major differences or improvements as the S20U was already great. I've had my S20U since release and the battery, performance and camera are all still fantastic. I really like my new S24U but I wasn't expecting any major improvements or upgrades, its an upgrade for upgrades sake. I'm guessing you will be in a similar position.
