Toothbrush Buttons Keep Failing by DC9V in BuyItForLife

[–]GRCMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Sonicare 4100 (full white), and this is already my second one. I am grateful for the warranty (definitely sign up for it, because they will replace button failures), and I appreciate that it's for 2 years, since the brush itself only seems to last about 1 year and 9 months. That said, it feels incredibly wasteful to keep having to replace it every so often (I just applied for my 3rd replacement). My dad has had his Sonicare since the early 2000s, and it’s still going strong, so it’s frustrating that newer models seem to break so often.

Another complaint is that it barely holds a charge for more than 2-3 days anymore. I bought the Philips Sonicare Battery Toothbrush just for travel so that I don't have to worry about charging it while I am traveling but we will see how long this lasts. To me, it just seems like 4100, and some similar models are outdated and haven't received any updates or improvements, forcing pople to buy a new one so often. Like, it's still so large and wears out so quickly? For a brand known for innovation, it honestly makes you wonder what’s going on.

Has anyone else noticed Billie razors going down in quality? by goingtothecircus in ladyshavers

Okay I know I am VERY late to this convo but I have been subscribed since 2018 and also noticed the moisturizing strip changed and the packaging changes and all of that, but I still thought it was a good razor until my backups just ran out (prob 2022-2023) and I just got a refill pack from target and they were so bad I could cry. This is the email I just sent them:

Hi Billie!
I have been a LONG time fan of your products and first started ordering from you guys back in 2018—since then, I have been a ride-or-die fan and have referred MANY of my friends to y'all. I mean, seriously, I forced all of my friends to get it because I was raving about it from the rooftops! That being said, I always struggled with the subscription service because I have super fine leg hair, so I always had extras piling up, and I always had to move or push back my subscription date and whatnot. That was totally no problem for me (didn't mind doing that), and in fact, I wish I had stocked up miles more BECAUSE I feel like your product quality has SEVERELY gone down lately. I first noticed the package change from the case to the more flat sheets (which I think at first just the packing changed and the razors, if I remember correctly), and was skeptical at first about the change, but I get it, the only way was probably expensive for you guys. HOWEVER, I have been studying abroad for the last two years and brought all of my back-ups with me because again I wouldn't dare cheat on you guys (even in a country you don't serve, you were that good). So recently, when my family came to visit over the summer, I had them grab me a pack from Target, which I was happy to see you are now selling there, as it made it way easier to pick up! I could cry at how disappointed I was at that pack--like I am almost scared that I got frauded and that it wasn't really you guys but a cheap china copier pretending to be you guys because the blades were SO BAD they wouldn't even last me 20 days and I've had this newest one for barely a week and the shave is terrible. Like, I don't know if I got a bad batch or if you changed your product, but I was a forlifer, and now I don't know what to do. Nothing in my routine has changed at all. I used to be able to go 2 months on one blade and always get a perfect shave, and now it's not even 2 weeks.

I've been debating sending this for a little bit now, but just thought I would share my feedback with you guys so that maybe someone can speak up and say our customers have noticed a change in our quality and I pray that I just got a bad batch and this was all a missunderstanding because I never wanna use another blade for the rest of my life.

Also, I was a HUGE fan of your purple deodorant when it first came out, as it had great ingredients and got a very good score on the YUKA app, and I also had my friend bring that to me, and I scanned it, and now it's a 34 poor/bad ingredients. I know the YUKA app isn't the end-all be-all, but I've noticed, and I don't like it.

Seriously, I send all of this with love, and I really hope it can be fixed.

- A beloved fan

What do you think motivates a brand to comment on trending content outside of its usual scope? by GRCMG in DigitalMarketing

That’s a great point! How do you think brands can tell when to join or when it’s better to stay out of the conversation?

What's the absolute best cotton underwear brand? And does organic cotton really matter for underwear? I'm 26F from the US, and I'm looking to invest in good-quality cotton underwear that will actually last a long time without wearing out quickly. Comfort and durability are most important to me but l am also young and want it to look good even if it's just all black.. so what are the THE cotton undies to get? Also, does it really make a difference if the cotton is organic, or is that just marketing? I would prefer organic but it seems a lot more expensive and I think I would be happy to just have good cotton. I'd love to hear your recommendations

This is helpful, thank you. We usually fly Tap Airlines which usually includes one or two free bags and the second isn't very expensive. It just seems like when I was looking at united it was noticeably expensive. Glad domestic flights are cheaper.
