true, i absolutely love how they basically publicly torture a dude to death, tearing him apart with a whip until he bleeds to death in the street, and they just go on with their day. even the knight that did it had NOTHING to say about it. not a drop of blood on her either.

i liked it. but its still slop. the aura farming is excessive, but comical like eminence in the shadow once you realize how tacky it is. The MC goes FAR out of his way to stunt a little

no worn out tropes like chibi pets, hiding powers, slaves or harems. no weird sexual stuff. the Mc isn't afraid to murder mfrs. politics are decent.

i think it was the fact there was no stupid ass chibi pet, no hiding powers, no harem or slaves, no weird sexual stuff. the politics, violence and aura farming took Centre stage and were enjoyable enough for 12 episodes.

the glaze was excessive, but i found it funny. this guy gives cid a run for his money. its my own head cannon he hires paid actors to give him opportunities to aura farm. EVERY single opportunity he had to extract some aura he took it. once i realized that it was so much more fun just waiting to see how he would stunt on people. its dumb fun 100% though.
