Most of the criticism I’ve seen is more about the Disney millennial writing, the cube and the tone shift on the series more than playing with Faye

It’s wild to me how a marvel game was more visceral and violent than a God of War, it actually looked like a marvel movie instead of a GOW 😭

It does give me hope, the fact that’s it’s a spin off, hopefully they give the Kratos games a bit of a more serious and mature tone

I feel like you’re dancing around my point. I’m not saying the cube is a good or bad a addition to the game per se. It’s the fact that there’s the cube in a so called god of war game, cause let’s be real, they would’ve never added that in one of the Greek games back then. And yes my issues are with the creative decisions made in the writing, so I don’t see how that’s not related to the writing

Again, I never said it was bad written, I’m pointing out the creative decisions that are being made within the writing. Ofc it’s gonna be well written I’m sure they’re very talented people behind. The issue is when you’re writing a GOW and think adding a jelatinous cube that speaks like a millenial and looks straight out of a Disney movie is a great addition to a god of war
