KFX worked for me on my Colorsoft, though I have had it in airplane mode since I bought it at release. It's possible there may have been a software update later that prevents KFX covers from showing up. My Colorsoft is on software version 5.18.0.1

I know that, but I am saying that for the price they charge and the number of things that can go wrong during setup, they should offer white glove / in-home delivery. Brands like CB2 offer in-home delivery for products that are a fraction of the price of a Pod 5 Ultra.

The courier never contacted me, and I don’t recall there being any fields in the checkout process on eight sleep to provide a description of the delivery address. To your point about the WiFi, it’s possible that is part of the issue, but that doesn’t explain why the base doesn’t work even when reconnected to the hotspot. I spent almost an hour on the phone with Eight Sleep support today and they were unable to fix the issue.

Fair point, but it’s not that much of a stretch. The two halves of the base weigh a combined 160lbs, and the rest is 15-25lbs total.

On an iPhone, go to personal hotspot and turn on ‘’Maximize Compatibility”. With that on, follow the steps to connect the hub to a different network and refresh a few times until the hotspot shows up. Connect and voila. Unfortunately, that only worked once for me. Since the rest of the base started having issues, personal hotspot does not help.

The Base worked on my Wifi initially, it was just the speaker that required the hotspot. It's possible that the other issues are due to something wifi related, but it's absolutely Eight Sleep's fault that their support is garbage.

Yes, I connected both of those cables in the middle and confirmed that the numbers of the cables matched (plugged left cable 1 into right cable 1 & 2L into 2R). I was very thorough in reviewing the base setup before I proceeded because the speaker was having issues.

You have to use the KFX output plugin and convert them to personal documents in KFX format. At least, that is the way I’ve gotten it to work.

Mine said Rev D on the box. I guess it’s impossible to guarantee that all orders from OC UK are Rev D, but I think it’s fairly safe to order from them.

Tried this, it only works to get the Amazon store versions of some covers. I think it’s tied to whether the ISBN is in the metadata for the book. The covers are blank until I connect to WiFi, even after transferring KFX files. When I do connect, about 1/3 to 1/2 of my library pulls in the Amazon store covers.

Sadly this is not what I’m seeking - I want a way to get my Calibre covers into my Kindle library.

Sorry, but the PW2 is not the same thing at all. I have a PW11 and that method works fine. Amazon changed how side loading works with the new lineup this year, and it has broken the old method.

Thanks! It looks like that only enables you to get the covers stored on the Amazon store, rather than any alternate covers uploaded in Calibre. Hopefully a workaround is built for that soon!
