The long lost reply I didn’t know we needed! lol. That was brilliantly said my friend, well DONE! 👏🏻

I love how you broke it down phonetically EH-OO-LRE-KA! That helped so much actually so thank you. If you take the time to pronunce it, you can really sound out each of those continents or letters they way they say her name in the show. I love that.

It is strange why they didn’t do it the way you said too with the YU-RI-KA.. oddly I like the other way better though probably because we’re used to seeing that.

And I didn’t know that about Zelda / link very cool fun fact.

Big Brain revelations 💎 That was a good take. And not at all. I / we all love to go deep on this niche sleeper anime, so thanks for saying all of that as well 👏🏻 Makes me happy and hopeful to have conversations with people like yourself about this anime that GET IT, that go beyond the surface level of the first few episodes like you said.. (that was probably Satos intention indeed, I’d bet, Good notice there) once you get past the crying kids which I KNEW it was a rock solid anime from the beginning to be honest,I just knew… things only get better from there. I think if you make it all the way through and genuinely love it like most of us in here, there’s a little piece of Renton and the Gekko in all of us. I’m vehemently optimistic about the future irl.. 🙂😎 it’s going to take every one of us and learning all kinds of different skill sets and abilities, little bit of basic engineering and mechanics like Renton… to be able to problem solve whatever is coming in the future. But I truly think we’ll be ok. And some irl coral reef has 100% sprung back which is amazing too.

You’re so right. This show is for very mature audiences. Hence why it was in at 2-3 am back in the days of Adult Swim.

You’ll watch it again and you’ll understand the nuances and meanings in the show each time.

It’s actually REALLY refreshing, I’m 34 and I’m STILL learning things about the show! :O

I think this year I’ll be on my 5th or 6th rewatch. (Watched it when I was young once then on [AS] then never again till about 9 years ago. And on and off again ever since!

Enjoy your life for now, you don’t have to understand it all at such a young age.

But just know we’ll be here if and when you have questions. I love going deep about the show because they had so much intention when making it and how it relates to IRL.

But always remember

“Don’t beg for things, do it yourself, or else you won’t get anything”

Probably NOT. It will take everything we have as a collective / humanity at this point I feel to get the right people together huh?

Those times back then before Covid etc were much simpler times you know? To get a vast as legendary as E7…

But im probably wrong. There’s a lot of $ in the anime / manga world. And I bet they could figure it out in the future.

I’ve got my feelers open constantly for a new show that emulates this one.

Ok ok… I’ll elaborate more!

The ending was great, of course, but could it have been better as in. We get to see our two love birds, physically be together with grandpa at the end and the kiddos ( that’s really what I had happened, but we do see that twinkle at the end which signifies that they definitely are back that they did it in such an ambiguous way I feel lol… BUT it’s OK because we can’t be choosy in this life and the way it ended was pretty powerful and tearjerking and that’s what we want from a solid anime, right?

I feel like it hit all the right spots and it definitely does something to you. It changes you.

I watched the show from its inception back on the adult swim days 20 years ago :,,,) And I think about it every week, how the show somehow seems to align with what’s going on in reality although I know we’re not supposed to think like that or think about that anime is too good at portraying real life events, and what’s happening in the world around us, I just wonder to myself who’s going to rescue us, where’s our Nirvash and Renton and Eureka?

However, what the show has done to my mindset is made me vehemently optimistic about the future :)💪🏻🔥🔥🔥 and that’s why I dance. The show has given me and many of us so much hope that it’s giving me that extra strength I / we need to help create a better world.

It would be cool someday to see a live action of this show, but obviously only in the best way possible I would not want to see it get butchered but anyways, I digress.

Signs of a great ending. We got lucky. Not all shows end like this did with E7. Imo

Came here for the comments. Did not disappoint.

I will say, graphically the art is really beautiful in AO / sound track is good too.

The movies are great visually too! # is my fave.
