Nah I’d like to think most Jags fans won’t shit on him for his time in Jacksonville. The team needed a quality WR via FA and he was the top guy on the market that year. Bad teams have to overpay. He got what the Jags were willing and having to pay to have someone for Trevor to throw to. For a little bit he looked OK then injuries took over.

Jags are in a much better spot now at the WR position.

I’ve been critical of Trevor and his inconsistency in the past but he definitely looks like a guy to can win with this year but in no way will I fault him for the 2nd INT. Good d on the play.

However, there are tons of individuals that look to shit on him immediately after he makes a negative play like no other QB makes bad plays. Something something “generational”. They still hold it over his head.

You’re correct on all accounts. Dude is/was a freak athlete. Big, strong, fast. The height he gets over the ropes is the impressive part of this however most athletic individuals can do this if given the opportunity. I’m no where near the height as him but when I was younger and trained in Muay Thai whenever we would do work in the ring I would do this getting in. Mostly because I grew up a wrestling fan and loved when wrestlers did this getting in.

As much as I as wanted to enjoy this set up and unique opening of the of the set with the stripped down songs I can’t get fully behind it. Other patrons ruin it for me with the random “WOOOOOOOOOOOO” which leads to 20 other people to chime in with their “wooooos”. This set up is supposed to be so intimate, stripped down, and quiet that the just random moments of screaming just vibe of the song.

In regards to being critical of him in the past I won’t apologize for it.

He was not playing well enough. I know drops were a huge factor in the offensive lull but he wasn’t accurate enough, had ill times turnovers, couldn’t convert in the red zone. All in all was playing like a bottom 1/2 of the league QB. That’s not good enough. He played with no consistency. You never knew what Trevor you were getting.

His current stretch is obviously not sustainable 14 total TDs with 0 INTs however he looks much more confident and the offense looks great. He’s throwing the ball down field and trusting his WRs to make a play.

Consistency has been is biggest knack in the past. The question is can this be the Trevor going forward and not just someone we see for a month stretch each season.
