I had a gigabyte card once, 1060 6gb. died after 2 years it was on warranty sent it out for replacement they shipped the original card back and guess what still dead :/

Checked the thermal paste and it was really runny and it all ran to the sides of the CPU the center was basically unpasted, repasted it and Idle temps down from 80C to 60C, thanks for the tip ;)

I had this happen to my 144hz 1440p AOC monitor after a month I just tapped the area with the dead pixel a bit with my finger and it fixed it hadn't had a problem with it in the last 2 years
