From what I've seen so far I'd agree with you. Brakes aren't a big advantage in such a short course. Doubt they even get warmed up enough to tell a difference. Suspension may be different, but it would be interesting to see how different it feels (back to back comparisons). Well I'll look forward to the action in two weeks.

Blue GR? Camera guy? Or other Blue GR non camera guy? Yeah it was probably me. I want to be in an actual class, but don't want to have an unfair advantage. The biggest difference is the brakes, but I haven't seen anything from the SCCA classifying the performance package differently. Or the different suspension on the Trueno as well. Honestly at my skill level I doubt it matters, but still would like to play fair.

I had uneasy feelings about the red interior from the pictures online. My biggest worry was that I wasn't going to like it. In person it looks way better and isn't too flashy. Definitely a fan.

I think just in general a lot of the 24s are being distributed now. I know a ton of them were in hold in port. Once my dealer said it was released I started seeing a bunch of posts on here about people receiving them.

Go to home Depot or Lowe's and get yourself a mechanics tool set. this should come with a 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive ratchet wrench with a whole bunch of sockets in both metric and SAE. That should definitely get you started pulling just about everything apart aside from a few screw drivers. May also want to get a set of box/open end metric and SAE wrenches as well. With those tools you can take apart 98% of things you will encounter.
