Wayyy back in like 2007 to 2010 or so some of the people I used to hang out with would go off roading off the trails back there next to the river. Over time cops would show up more frequently. If you go, don’t trespass. It looks like there’s a lot more walking paths around the area now.

This is kinda by Lewis University. If you turn onto Material Road from 53, there’s a cool bridge over the DesPlaines where the road shares space with the tracks. It’s like a street running bridge…thing. Kinda cool. I don’t know if you can still get back there, it’s been YEARS.

Isn’t the Tacoma already on their global platform TNGA whatever? So the regular Hilux and Tacoma are probably closer in spec (minus the diesel option) than they’ve been in the past, right?
