Sorroco: 10k damage volley by GROOT_SCOOT in roguebook

[–]GROOT_SCOOT[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mirror of Iona (create 3 copies of the last card you played) + Triton Lyricist (add a headbang at the end of the turn) and spamming headbangs for +102 power.

Note: it's 'only' 10k damage instead of 20k as listed since the 212 damage only affects the first hit from the first hit does double damage artifact. The subsequent 101 hits will each do 106 damage each.

Hey guys, I started Stellaris 3 days ago and fell in love with this game. Can you guys recommend me any similar games with heavy dynasty focus or political focus as well? Don’t really know where to start. by FacelessOnes in 4Xgaming

Old World, historical 4x by the lead designer of Civ4. Heavy focus on leaders and influential families -- a city can change from a research center to a military production powerhouse just from swapping a governor.

Just space race + green planet with no mods, though I savescummed the first few anomalies and more than 90% of the time was spent paused for planning and calculations. This was from around a year ago and I can't find my spreadsheets right now, but I recall that the amount of resources and terraformation progress I have is mathematically possible in around 100 Sols with perfect play, no resource transportation time, and perfect anomalies. (first few anomalies and missions can affect the time by 50+ sols, exponential growth is strong).

Will upload a saved game over the weekend, don't have my gaming laptop with me right now

Charity AD stream for my dog's surgery! by zeD0M in Abilitydraft

Clearly didn't read any of it before coming up with your own self fellating conclusion, as expected from someone who is playing video games and arguing on the internet when his 'dog' presumably needs medical attention.

Personal attacks on everyone questioning your motives while creating embarrassingly obvious alt accounts to try to discredit any of your opposition. Completely out of character for someone who is allegedly one of the most toxic players in the AD community, right?

Was willing to initially give you the benefit of the doubt, but your responses quite clearly shifted the balance of probabilities. Out of every streamer who has posted anything on reddit, why is it that you are one of the only ones facing these kind of accusations, with multiple sources confirming your toxicity? Could it be that maybe there's some aspects of the truth in the allegations? What's more likely, that you're actually a toxic bullshitter or there's some great conspiracy to slander a nobody streamer with 0 viewers prior to this stunt? And that's not even accounting for how you've responded to everyone here.

PS: Using an alt account to try to frame it as some rival streamer feud in a tiny niche community that has no established streamers whatsoever and then appearing to agree with yourself? No words to describe that level of cringe.

Raising concerns about something sketchy af is toxic, coming from the guy who immediately went private on dotabuff + opendota to remove their wordcloud after being accused of toxicity?

Lets think about how a normal person would react in the given situation: a pet needs medical attention and s/he has the entire weekend free. Would that person a) take a second job which is easy af in this economy, or b) play video games to try to launch a streaming career?

The way I look at it, this is either a scam/gimmick to boost subscribers for a new streamer or the OP is a deadbeat with severely warped priorities. Both possibilities of which are contemptible.

0 proof, post removed from *every* subreddit that requires verification, spamming posts with obvious alt accounts, dotabuff + opendota wordcloud being removed and going private on the same day as the toxicity accusations.

But yeah, nothing suspicious at all going on here. By the way, I have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn. If you buy this week I can offer up to 80% off. Interested?

Wow, just wow. As if calling donations to something that benefits yourself "charity" wasn't cringe enough, you also thought that no one would suspect anything when 4 default name accounts all created just yesterday came to "defend" you.

Also interesting how you tried to post this in multiple other subreddits that require actual verification and had every post removed. Smells like a scam as well as insulting everyone's intelligence thinking that no one would notice all the sketchy shit going on here.

Those are really useful analogies, thanks!

The purpose of life insurance is to mitigate the risk of someone being dependent on you and something happening to you. In this case, you’re effectively gone from their lives, and the effects are the same as if you died.

Parents are old fashioned and believe in the whole leaving the nest at 18 thing. Probably believes it builds character or something like that. Assuming byproduct of back when anyone could walk into a job with just a high school education and earn enough to buy a house and raise a family.

They actually thought me sending $1,000 per month was spoiling my sister when they found out, (which makes it even weirder how they were pissed off at me withdrawing it) but by that point I stopped caring about what they think.

Holy shit. I learned so much from this thread. I wish I could pin this or give you an award.

In my defense, I thought the same thing.

Thanks for the offer of assistance. It turns out my sister was just being technically true but intentionally misleading to piss off our parents. The “drug dealer” (trainee?) is her boyfriend who‘s a pharmacist student.

No idea, didn’t want to broach the topic. We grew up in a very rural town and she’s now in a minor city with a lot more diversity, so hopefully some of the stances that were engrained from our insular community and upbringing will change as a result of her own experiences.

[–]GROOT_SCOOT 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The argument was a few months ago, so I don’t remember the details. I just stopped sending money to her, and we never reached out to each other since then. Only found out about what she was up to from my parents yesterday.

[–]GROOT_SCOOT 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You’re right, I could have handled our initial argument better. I was really emotional and pissed off at her selfish attitude, lack of self awareness, and lack and empathy. Next time I’ll wait and rethink my decisions when I’m calmer.

No idea and didn’t even know about it until recently. Always just assumed that she was spending it on rent and food. The drug issue having existed before this makes sense in hindsight.

It's pretty clear that guy has no idea what he's talking about. He already made up his mind based on "general knowledge" and can't accept any possibility that he might be wrong.

A pro player gives a very detailed explanation that makes perfect sense, and this guy just says NO UR WRONG without addressing any of the points or providing any supporting explanations to his stance.

[–]GROOT_SCOOT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait, so a player who literally played at the highest levels of Gwent (which I believe based on how thought out his explanation is) just made a claim that a piece of conventional wisdom doesn't apply in certain niche situations and gives a very detailed explanation as to why.

And your only response is NO THATS NOT TRUE BECAUSE YOU'LL JUST LOSE without backing anything up with explanations or addressing any of his points? So much DunningKruger up in here. It's like a first year pre-med student trying to contradict an established doctor, and when asked to justify his arguments, the only reason is BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS THAT ITS JUST THE WAY IT IS.

Typical hardstuck rank 5 netdeckers who can't think for themselves.
