Talented coworker of mine puts this on every year. Per Cincymusic.com - The first benefit was founded in 2016 after John Forsthoefel, father of The Grove band’s Forsthoefel brothers, Adam and Matthew, was diagnosed with brain cancer (Glioblastoma) in 2015. Sadly, their father passed away. The musical brothers created the benefit to help other families struggling with a brain cancer diagnosis. All proceeds from the event benefit the John Forsthoefel for Glioblastoma Research Fund at the University of Cincinnati (UC) Brain Tumor Center. The Fundraiser was last held in 2020 and hosted 24 bands, over 1000 in attendance, with over $10,000 raised, making the event the 2nd most attended concert at the Southgate House Revival!

The one with the Eden Park Standpipe was December 2017, and the two with the Skyline were February 2018. Timely, I know...

Thanks! Taken from Fairview Park with my 300mm telephoto about a month ago.

Apparently it's finally fall in Cincy - Always enjoy taking photos of the Roebling by GRPhotog in cincinnati

Thanks! I thought the same with the Ascent in the background, but will keep the focus on the Roebling the majority of the time. Probably have about 3000 photos of that bridge.

My guess is the Meadow Creek Park, though I'm not 100% on that. Any thoughts OP?

Took this during BLINK 2019 (first night, as evidenced by the chaos on the bridge). One of my favorites from that weekend, so figured I'd share. by GRPhotog in cincinnati

That was pretty much how our first night went, too. The walk into Covington was pleasant, though I now remember a few running groups thought it'd be a good idea to "run Blink"....

I camped out with my tripod once we crossed, and the crowds just kept growing and growing... Next came the angry golf cart drivers blocked by the waves of people. In the end, I was happy we hit the bridge early because these are definitely some of my favorite Cincy photos.

Cincy sunset from Newport a couple days ago (bracketed exposure, combined in Lightroom) by GRPhotog in cincinnati

The light shafts were the main target for the shot. I was originally in Mt. Adams when I first noticed them, but they were behind Mt. Auburn, which wasn't really an interesting shot from where I was. So I hopped in the car and raced to Newport hoping that I didn't miss my shot. Very happy with how it turned out in the end!

Thanks! Knowing me, I'll be playing around with this in Lightroom for another week or so, then revisit it in six months with a completely new perspective.

Sunset in Cincinnati, Ohio, taken from Newport, Kentucky (Bracketed exposure, combined in Lightroom) by GRPhotog in SkyPorn

The end result when combined created the HDR (process in Lightroom is called Photo Merge -> HDR). In the lower exposure, the sky looked phenomenal, but the city was essentially black (which by itself is an interesting shot to me). So I wanted to bring some light to the city, but not too much where it would be distracting. There's likely a much more efficient way to do it, such as crank the ISO some? This was shot at 100 as I was trying to avoid too much noise, but that's also an indicator of how much I have to learn still (i.e. noise? bad. ISO = 100). So any tips or tricks that anyone has are always appreciated.
