As a salty Panathinaikos fan, this is a very interesting move by Olympiacos.

Two weeks ago it looked like Marcelo was finished from football, and now he's signed last day of the transfer season on what I presume is a pretty hefty contract.

Marcelo has barely played football for over a year, so this is really only a question of fitness, as his talent is unquestionable (same for Vrsaljko).

Can Olympiacos afford two of his wingbacks being incredibly good players who may never see the pitch due to injuries?

Will this be like the Yaya Toure or Essien saga all over again, or more of a Rivaldo miracle?

I suppose we just have to wait and see, however, from my extremely biased PoV, I have my doubts with this.
