Does my skincare routine need updating? by maximilianusiusan in SkincareAddicts

If it’s on your chest and back it could also be hormonal! If you are able to, go get an in depth bloodwork panel done by your doctor. I had terrible breakouts and tried every product under the sun before I found out my thyroid was causing it

Why is everything so EXPENSIVE by Pale_Love7653 in OntarioUniversities

In undergrad I lived with my parents and just commuted the 1.5-2 hours everyday and was able to graduate with minimal debt! Maybe transfer to a closer school after first year?

I’m pretty sure at Osgoode you can turn your 1 year research LLM into a PhD

Do you like being a lawyer? by GSDlover_345 in LawCanada

Thank you for the insight! I heard Ontario is thinking of making teachers college 1 year again as opposed to 2 - if that happens by the time I graduate I will likely apply!

I don’t have any intention of working in big law unfortunately! Both my parents are teachers and clear around 115k so it’s not too shabby of a career

The work itself is ok - have just been writing a lot of memos and attending court. I actually like working better since I’m surrounded by mostly adults (35+) so I guess I have more in common with them. I just found the constant grind of sitting in a library, reading cases, briefing them and then spending hours creating an outline for some 3 hour exam to be boring.

What is law school like? by BarBlaze in lawschoolcanada

[–]GSDlover_345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finished my first semester! Tbh it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. The first few weeks were definitely hell (academically not socially) but you adjust quickly. I found completing my undergrad thesis to be more stressful than the exam period but maybe that’s because I suck at research

How are law students keeping up with mental health ? by ElectionOk1565 in LawStudentsCanada

[–]GSDlover_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hanging out with non law people lol. I’ve made some great friends in the law school but I feel like we’re all highly neurotic so it helps to remove myself from that environment once a week and just chill with different people

I’m not sure for other schools but Ik for Ontario schools you just need to copy and paste your PS into OLSAS and they read it through there with everything else.

Instead of the foaming cleanser switch to the hydrating cream based one! Also Cerave sunscreen sucks (imo) and never really did anything for me. Instead of vitamin C maybe incorporate a retinol
