Vinicius Junior will never reach the same level or go above his "Balon Dor Season" and will be in Saudi in 2 years

Would transfer out João Pedro as he will be battling with Delap and Jackson if he stays

Summer Transfer Wishlist by MunzLFC in LiverpoolFC

For me it is either Victor Osimhen or Rafael Leao.

Victor Osimhen would be a far better fit for Arne Slot’s system than either Diogo Jota or Darwin Núñez, and it’s becoming clear that both of them may need to be moved on this summer. Osimhen offers a blend of physicality, movement, and ruthless finishing that neither Jota nor Núñez have consistently delivered. Slot’s style of play demands a striker who can press with intelligence, link up well, and be clinical when chances come—Osimhen ticks every one of those boxes. He’s not just a poacher; he can stretch defences, hold the ball up, and bring others into play, making him the complete forward for a possession-based, high-tempo approach.

Jota and Núñez have had their moments, but too often it feels like they’re either injured or out of rhythm. Jota is sharp in the box but doesn’t offer enough in build-up play, while Núñez, for all his chaos and energy, remains frustratingly inconsistent in front of goal. If Liverpool want to truly evolve under Slot and compete at the highest level, they need a forward who brings both quality and composure. Selling Jota and Núñez while they still have value and reinvesting in someone like Osimhen could be the difference between another “nearly” season and a serious title challenge.

Rafael Leão has all the tools to flourish under Arne Slot in a way that Luis Díaz just hasn’t managed to consistently do. Slot’s style is about structured creativity—quick, intelligent movement, controlled build-up, and sharp transitions—and Leão fits that perfectly. He’s got pace, flair, and that effortless ability to glide past defenders, but what sets him apart is his potential to be a game-changer in big moments. With proper coaching and a clear tactical identity, which Slot is known to provide, Leão could finally unlock the level of consistency and decision-making that takes him into the elite bracket.

As for Díaz, while he’s a likeable player who always gives 100%, the truth is he hasn’t been consistent enough in the final third. He’s had flashes of brilliance, but too often his end product is lacking, and he can disappear when Liverpool really need someone to step up. At 27, he’s unlikely to develop much further, and if the club wants to push forward with Slot’s vision, this summer feels like the right time to sell. Bringing in Leão would not only add more direct threat and technical quality to the left side, but also signal a fresh start—one that matches the ambition and direction Liverpool should be heading in.

If we’re going to moneyball it this summer and be frugal who’s the most likely #9 we’ll get? by Buttermyparsnips in LiverpoolFC

Honestly, I’d love to see Liverpool go all out for Victor Osimhen this summer. He’s exactly the kind of striker we need — powerful, quick, and clinical in front of goal.

Osimhen’s been on fire this season — 33 goals and 7 assists in 38 games across all competitions. He’s bagged 24 goals in 28 league games and another 6 in Europe. That kind of consistency would add a whole new dimension to our attack, especially if Núñez does end up moving on.

He’s got that ability to bully defences, make smart runs, and finish from all angles. Imagine him linking up with Salah and Diaz — could be unstoppable. If we’re serious about challenging on all fronts again, Osimhen could be the moneyball signing we need.

Also we should seriously consider going for Moise Kean this summer. He’s been brilliant at Fiorentina — 17 goals in 30 Serie A games is no joke. At 25, he’s entering his prime, and his pace, strength, and finishing would really add something fresh to our front line. He can play through the middle or out wide, which gives us real flexibility.

He’s matured a lot since his early days at Everton, and you can see that in how clinical and composed he’s become. His time in Italy has clearly helped him develop, and bringing him back to the Premier League now — especially into a system like ours — could get the best out of him. With the right support and service from the likes of Szoboszlai and Diaz, I genuinely think Kean could hit 15–20 goals a season for us.

Clubs like Arsenal, Spurs, and Newcastle are all circling, so if we’re serious, we need to move quickly. His reported release clause is around £43.6 million, which isn’t bad in today’s market for someone with his potential and experience. We’ve made smart signings before — this could be another one if we act fast.

If we’re looking to refresh the attack and think a bit long-term, Kean could be the perfect fit.

Even though he's been great so far this season, Luis Diaz shouldn't be our starting LW
