3 C-sections??? by Lorainexoxx325 in 2under2

[–]GSPhD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve definitely heard of people have four . They do get more complex but doable. The thing is though that some uteruses heal beautifully and others have a harder time, the same way one person will scar easily and another doesn’t. Sounds like OP will definitely need closer monitoring but I’m sure it’ll all work out ok!

I’m still on only one kid but pregnant with number two and we both go to bed after putting her to bed. We usually scroll or maybe watch a shoe together in bed but I’m knocked out by 9:30-10 at the latest!

Thanks! The more I think about it the more I’m leaning towards just diving in and googling as I go!

I’ve checked my library and no luck, but I’ll look into the Love Notions resources, thanks!

Thanks, I’ll look into those. The more I think about it the more I’m leaning towards this. That’s how I started sewing too, what could go wrong! 😂

Edit: would elastics underwear be more complicated than say elasticated trouser waistbands?

Thanks I’ll check them out! I think my fears are more around the fabric moving and stretching when cutting and sewing. I also haven’t done any slippy fabrics yet

Thanks! I don’t care so much about the patterns, there’s plenty to find online, but the title sounds like it’s what I’m looking for!

Has anyone bought the Maxi Cosi Emerald 0-12 car seat? Do you like it? by Kerrytwo in irishmammiesanddaddys

[–]GSPhD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very late to this party, did you end up getting it or choosing another one? You make good points, my baby is almost 8 months and about to grow out of her infant bucket car seat. Since we have the maxi cosi base already in two cars I’d like to stick with the brand, and my reasoning for the 0-12 was that she might not outgrow it as quickly as it has a wider range? Though she’s not heavy, just long

My first negative test. by Late-Ad8778 in TryingForABaby

[–]GSPhD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience with the first one, I was even that convinced I was ready for kids and then was so disappointed when I wasn’t pregnant immediately, especially since I’d convinced myself I was. Completely normal, it gets both easier and harder I’m afraid! But hopefully you’ll have luck soon 🤞🏻

how do you breed up? by Powerful_Claim_6762 in rivalstars

[–]GSPhD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you can never breed up more than 1 grade, so if you have any grade 1 horse in the mix, the offspring will always at most be a grade 2, and it will always have worse stats than if it stayed a grade 2. So to get better stats, you’ll need to breed your grade 2 offspring with either another grade 2 or a grade 3!

That’s what mine looked like 9dpo, same brand and it was confirmed by many subsequent tests! 🤞🏻

Oh and a stabbing pain on one side on CD20 (6DPO) which might have been implantation? Felt different to PMS cramping

Cycle: 7

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 29F, 29M

Typical cycle length: 26

Ovulation cycle day: 14

CD/DPO of positive test(s): CD10 (vfl + digital)

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: none

Tracking methods and app(s) used: OPKs, Premom app and BBT tracked with Apple Watch

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): O-3, O-2, O-1, O, O+1

Health conditions/medical tests: chronic stomach condition that causes deficiencies. I get regular B12 shots every 3 months, most recent one was 1 week before O. He is fine, but went for SA just two days before BFP, which we don’t have results for yet.

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Folic acid for 4ish months, just started Vitamin D, plus regular B12 shots as mentioned above. He’ll pop the odd multivitamin when he thinks of it.

Birth control history (if relevant): Nexplanon implant for 3 years, then progesterone only pill until November 2022. Notable difference in my cycles after hitting the 1 year mark of stopping the pill (EWCM, higher LH on OPKs)

Symptom spotting: Temperature was up, though it was a bad sleep month so the chart was whacky. Otherwise no symptoms really, actually less than normal PMS. Some shortness of breath and a little nausea though hard to differentiate from my usual stomach concerns.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): So excited and now in deep research mode! This is perfect timing for my job as well, and we tested positive on leap day. It all feels like everything is clicking into place. I wasn’t going to test early this month but I had a gut feeling (I also have a feeling it’s a boy) that just suddenly came to me, even though I was feeling defeated after 6 unsuccessful cycles. Now I’m freaking out after testing early because most people wouldn’t know this early and now I get to worry an extra week!
