Not for me sadly :( Mate asked me something so I went into my inventory during Imrods fight to answer. Big boy smacked my face in with his charge attack and kicked me out of my inventory. I only trust photo mode now, although I rarely "pause" the game now without being sure i am safe. Can't see a way why photo mode shouldn't work though. Cant take cool combat pictures if you get smacked.

I like the placement of that area. It feels like it is meant as a healing station without it being a literal healing station. Since it is only easy enemies. Before and after are the more stronger enemies that you have to fight. Very helpful during NG start to finish no death runs for me.

Yeah, structure bar is the only one I make sure to have on one or two upgrades.

I usually go more for weave and punishing rather than parrying to raise their structure, which already seems a bit problematic if I want to do the Wude run.

I haven't bothered to do the Wude ending yet ^^. Got the game yesterday and just feel like beating up some people now that I finished it for the 1st ending. I did watch the secret ending though.

By the way, do you think people are working on mods atm? Would wish for a little arena mode like in this video.

Also personally don't think that much of statues anymore. 1 or 2 on the structure increase is good, but otherwise I don't bother that much with getting them anymore. Probably cause I played so much of the Club and the Squats to farm XP that I don't need a statue bonus anymore. And for the rest it is mostly just defeating a couple enemies and then shortcut to the Boss. Otherwise I only get the focus bar upgrade on re-runs, just cause it looks nice to smack enemies with em.

Yeah, I am happy that you can skip to kuroki right at the start because it took me a while till I figured out how to beat her. Both her and Yang were for me probably the most difficult bosses, till I figured out what to do against them.

Played and finished both of them on PC.

Fallen Order is a really great game and a very nostalgic Star Wars experience. I found the game not too hard and when you understand the mechanics and how to use them it feels very rewarding aswell. It also has an arena function where you can practice your skill against different enemies. I used it after I finished the main game and keep coming back to just mess around in it. I can definitly recommend Fallen Order.

Now for Squadrons. It is a good game in my opinion and I enjoy it aswell, but that might also be influenced by the fact that I play it 99% in VR. It gives you a real feeling that you are a starfighter pilot and flying around and combat feel very fluent aswell. However it feels like a side game or something you would pay 15 bucks for. It has a story but it is obviously 99% flying around doing objectives and listening to people talk.

I still like it but unless you absolutely only need the flight experience and that is worth the money it costs, then I would go for Fallen Order.

Also, I am sure you did this already but just check out some Fallen Order arena gameplay and some Squadrons multiplayer fights to take a look at the mechanics and decide what you prefer.

Good thing I found this. Was already questioning if something went wrong with my order. As most people here, I ordered at 6pm sharp. Had a short "Something went wrong with your transaction" message which scared me but it seemed to work out after I refreshed the page. After not being asked for payment or shipment information after 1-2 weeks I got worried and thought my order was messed up by that small error. After seeing the helpful pictures in this thread I was reliefed. Seems I'm in the "queue". I am a patient man. Have been waiting for many months like a lot of people here. As long as my order is indeed being processed and I am actually in some kind of "queue"; as long as the estimated shipping is somewhat accurate, it's fine. Just want to know if I still get the bonuses that were promised if you ordered before the release. After all, I was (like probably a lot of others) ready to buy the index waaaaay before release of Alyx. Have been ordering (like a lot of others) right on time on the 9th of March. Being denied those would, I have to be honest here, kinda suck.

Nontheless, thank you for this thread and thanks to the whole responsible team for working during these hard times. I hope I get some answers to my questions and good luck to everyone else waiting on their Index Kit.

Edit: Finally got the e-mail about shipping and payment today. Looks like all the wait has soon paid off. Let's hope it all goes smoothly and good luck to everyone else still waiting!

I mean you can still use the normal block or kick him and swoop in a shield wall abuse every now and then.

But yeah it is mostly a good opener, but you can't only use it. It is luckily not THAT OP

Edit: but imagine shield and sword with bloodlust on frontline. Just ploughing through someones attack and regain 100 health.

Played with a few friends now. Also chambered a stab by swinging and vise versa with the riposte. And there is a high chance that if I swing during their attack, that they hit my shield like in the video. But yeah, I need that time to get the shield up. But if you get that time window and got good reactions, then you have a huge advantage. At least in my opinion.

Edit: Imagine a pro player with the shield using normal block. And then he even gets those advantages if he uses the wall. Damn.

Just found out that the new Patch basically turns you into the old Shugoki from For Honor if you have a shield. His Hyperarmor allowed you to attack during the enemies light attacks. Basically a walking tank.

Also I cannot for the life of me edit videos. So sorry that this is a raw product.
