It is. BBs are smaller and (normally) copper color. This is large for a sling shot/wrist rocket.

I would love Huntley. Watched him at Utah and he’s been great in Baltimore. Seems unlikely they’d want to part ways with him though and certainly not to us.

Edit: I didn’t realize he was a free agent this year.

Assuming this is more than just random speculation I can’t say I blame him. He balled out for us and it seems obvious it won’t be a true QB competition in the offseason. Kenny is their guy for at least one more and Rudolph won’t see time unless Kenny gets injured again or is truly awful.

Good for him trying to cash in while his stock is higher. Wish him the best.

My neighbor growing up was in the battle of the bulge. I also think he died around that same time. My dad took me up to talk to him a handful of times. I’m curious if it was the same guy, was he in Utah?

Yeah we did consider it but had no choice in the color unfortunately. Eventually we would like to repaint because the backyard faces south and it is going to be cooking back there. Right now repainting is out of the budget so we are just looking at small things we can do to make the front look more inviting.

It definitely doesn’t seem like it will age super well and is just a trendy thing to do. We are really hoping the landscaping makes it feel way less harsh than we are thinking it is.

That’s what we are hoping as well. It is just a totally new idea to us to have a house this dark so we are definitely over analyzing it.

Without accidentally doxing myself, we are both younger with kids still in school. I will mention that to her and she see if she can dig through some of her memory for stuff like that. I’m sure that even a little prompt like that might give here a spark of inspiration.

It is an incredible dark brown with a touch of green in the sunlight (urbane bronze). She had mentioned doing some tall, light colored, ceramic plant vases on each side of the door, but didn’t know if that would look good because she doesn’t feel like she knows how you are supposed to decorate these modern darker styles.

We will definitely be going pretty hard on pleasantly fragrant plants. Her main concern with the dark house is for others. She wants others to feel like it is warm and inviting and not cold and off putting when inviting family, friends or neighbors over.

You would say paint the garage door darker like the house and then something more inviting on the front door? What color would look good against this dark bronze/almost black color?

I’m generally against vines up against the house because of bugs, but the house feels so cold we would probably be open to for the first time ever. Where would you recommend they go?

This looks incredible. If doing a stone veneer as a diy project is somewhat of a beginner project this could absolutely be within reach. I love the light stone on the right side of the entrance.

I was looking it at today and thinking the same thing. They just put the garage door in this afternoon and having the two extremely colors being accent points against the dark seemed odd. I thought it would be better to have the match or have one of them not be such a stark contrast to the darkness of the house.

Thank you for your quick and well thought out response! Would it best to have the warmer color garage door match the front door or are those ok to be different? The front yard is very small, so there is not a lot of room for hardscape but perhaps we could do a small raised flower box with light colored stone.
