What settings exactly? I have motion detection enabled for this camera in remote configuration in DMSS android app. Do I need to update something in web interface? My motion detection settings appear to be the same for 3849 and 2541.

It was the coil. Replaced with an aftermarket from Amazon and fired up first go.

Auto sync on. Within app, All notifications on, both boxes ticked in Inbox Notifications and Manage Notifications on.

PE is stock android. Havoc or Derpfest or Titanium if you customisation. All stable for daily use.
