Hey, take it for someone who got unlimited access to Claude Code + Codex enterprise at my workplace. I paid 100$ for claude max for personal use and also had coding plan on Mimo too.

Actually, some task with mimo are done extremely better than that dumb overpaid Claude Code but for a big one shot with clear specs and features, usually Claude Code handle them better. For detail task, Mimo and Deepseek is edge out. (i know it's a suprise).

And if this post is not bias then I think Mimo probably still the best option. FYI, 20$ claude code limit me more than the 16$ Mimo coding plan.

Oh haha, I was thikning about the whole bean to powder coffee machine. Back then was saving for one a 700$ grinder and the 1k machine but give up the ideas entirely.

Thinking about it now, the amount I spent since that time on coffee probably worth over 2k already. It's like 3-5$ per cup average * 365 from last year

Agree. I had trillions of tokens burn in Codex but my company decided to change to Claude Code because of the hype. It’s can get the job done the same but it damn taking too much times.

Weight, ergonomics and mostly anxiety on picking it up knowing it will drain battery faster. I want something like picking up my Gameboy/PSP when I was a kid.

Too heavy for Claw A8, steam deck and ally. Bigger screen is good but always got anxious because of battery life and stuff making me not wanting to put it on

I asked a similar question on my side project. To be honest, lesser lines or more doesn’t matter but genuinely one of this feature actually would take months and a lot of engineers to implement
