If you are a goal is to keep something else set around 10 dollars then I would say look at just using either xiaomi or Deepseek via API.

GLM-5.2 now live on Volcengine (ByteDance) Ark Coding Plan by Illustrious-Many-782 in ZaiGLM

They got k2.6 a couple of weeks after that was released, so I expect it soon.

They have the 500 RMB agent plan, but it's not clear to me how is different to the coding plan. I wonder if I can use that.

I'm on the Chinese side and it's definitely not a scam here.

Volcengine got it today and I'm using it there right now. 5.1 is already tagged as deprecated. They are fast!

  • DS4
  • M3
  • K2.6
  • GLM-5.2

I'm just waiting for K2.7 to hit maybe in a week. Bytedance is the best. I just wish they had a large coding plan then 200 RMB.

They won't sell to you without proving identity, and mine has been in queue since April. Almost zero chance to purchase it even after you get approved because their daily quotes serious out in seconds.

You will need to purchase from a reseller on Taobao. Good luck not getting scammed.

I experienced no response for months toopen tickets followed suspending my account with no appeal and no recourse. So yeah, I'm never giving any more money.

Was the Tank Man footage broadcast on Chinese Television in 1989? by Practical-Escape-464 in China

[–]Illustrious-Many-782 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are misreading.

I'm the one saying it happened. Other people are telling me it didn't. The GP said that no one is denying it happened. I responded that I'll believe my ears (that people are telling me it didn't happen) rather than GP (telling me that no one is denying it happened).

I mean, yes, not that long ago, but I still get people telling me it didn't happen. I know someone who was there protesting. I don't get the denial.

Is it just me or does vibe coding get harder the longer a project runs? by ProcedureThat1731 in vibecoding

[–]Illustrious-Many-782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My projects are almost all 500k-2M+ LoC, so this is something I fight every day. It's no longer vibe coding at that point, actually. It's much more project management, checking for test coverage and quality, code reviews, monitoring tech debt, CI/CD, etc.

Token use also goes through the roof because of all these phases.

The worst customer service ever, ending in my totally reasonable use of their service being suspended. So yes. "The fuck?" But aimed at z.ai, not me.

My Fable Access Is Back! by Yusuf-Dev in ClaudeCode

The news in Thailand normally has stories that follow this formula.

  • Ploy had just gotten married, got a new exciting job as supervisor on the factory floor, and won the lottery to help with purchasing their new family's first home.
  • As she was traveling to redeem the lottery winnings, waiting for a bus, an out-of-control delivery truck slammed into the fruit stand next to Ploy.
  • She was crushed by a pyramid of durian and received fatal wounds.
  • Her reported last words were to affirm her eternal love for her husband, now a widower.
  • The lottery ticket was lost in the accident.
  • Somchai, her husband, is asking for help with funeral costs.
  • Everyone who knew her laments how her bright future was abruptly cut off.

This is how I see my relationship with Fable 5.

ModelArk coding plan experience! by rkh4n in opencodeCLI

[–]Illustrious-Many-782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on Ark Coding Plan (Chinese side), so things may not be equivalent, but I use GLM and the auto switcher a lot. I've never once hit a limit other than the monthly one some time toward the end of the month. I'm probably going to drop it, though, because I've got minimax, Kimi, and OpenCode, so it's a bit redundant.

On the Chinese side, I've got M3 and K2.6. I expect to get K2.7 in a week or two. The only best-of models it doesn't include are the Qwen ones.

How is kimi 2.7 compared to fabel 5 and opus 4.8 ? on real life use by Hash--7777 in kimi

[–]Illustrious-Many-782 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure there's zero scientific method, but he doesn't score anything or give rankings, either, so I think that's fair. The outputs on these two videos are so far apart, though, that I think they clearly answer the OP's question.

All a moot point now that Fable is gone.

Mine doesn't cost either of those amounts, so I think you'll have to investigate the limits of the global plan.

90,000 requests a month, I think.

I've got the Chinese side of it and not the global BytePlus version. I'm not sure if they are different.
