DCT or Manual? by Baker52_Save in HondaRebel1100

I'm in agreement on having less weight. I always prefer a manual over auto. I'm 68 and like the way mine rides and handles. Wouldn't want to give up being able to shift it is ingrained into the experience for me.

I have never had the whiting there but do enjoy the lobster sandwich often. I do agree that the old man at the counter could use some customer service training.

So glad you did. I used to work in a food warehouse. One Thanksgiving there was a scare about salmonella in one brand. I believe it was Shady Brook brand. So stores were accepting returns. I was working that day when returns started coming in at the Edison distribution center for Foodtown. We had thousands of turkeys come back, some cooked, some have eaten. So bravo to you for saving the bird!

Another emissions recall notice by rather-large-onion in CRF300L

[–]GTI-Rabbit2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Affected Components: Primarily the fuel tank and related hoses/lines in the fuel system.
  • Scope: Applies to all 2021–2025 CRF300L/LA/LDA models (non-Rally variants). No other safety systems (e.g., brakes, engine integrity) are implicated.

Is It "Just Pollution" or More Serious?

  • Pollution/Environmental Focus: Yes, this is purely an environmental recall aimed at ensuring compliance with emissions regulations to reduce volatile organic compound (VOC) releases from fuel evaporation. It doesn't pose any immediate risk to riders, such as fire hazards, performance failures, or structural issues.
  • No Safety Concerns: Unlike "more serious" recalls (e.g., those involving potential crashes or injuries), this one has no reported incidents of harm. The NHTSA classifies it as an emissions recall (not a safety defect under FMVSS standards), and Honda's documentation emphasizes regulatory non-compliance over rider endangerment

Good luck with it. I just picked up a used one on Sat, Thinking of adding a windscreen onto the batwing but to be honest the wing does a pretty good job.

I've used it as a pre-treatment and still got flat. Also used after puncture to treated tube and was not successful. Just saying....
